Dear Key Club,
Happy Holidays!
Send in articles and visu-
als for my Christmas gift!
Happy Holidays!! We have
been so busy the past few
months. I am so excited that it is
December already. We recently
had our new member induction
banquet and the theme was
Lorax. I am so happy that every-
one is now an official member. It
is not the end of our Key Club ,
it’s the beginning! I hope every-
one is having a blast . This year.
We have many events coming up and I hope all of you
can attend. One of our biggest events are coming up! Hol-
iday Spectacular unfortunately we weren't able to partici-
pate in the kick off but its okay! I am so excited that you
are all such dedicated members and you all have made
me a better person. Your dedication makes me so happy
and I love that our Key Club is such a happy family. Have
Happy Holidays, whatever you may or may not celebrate
have a great month of December!

The induction banquet was a happy moment of mine. I was so proud to see all the new members be officially inducted into our Key Club. Whether they were enjoying the food or socializing, I was glad to see the members enjoying the ban-quet made for them. I loved how nice everyone looked too. I was also impressed with the really cute decorations done by the banquet committee. And of course, the food was wonderful this year. I'm also glad key clubbers from other schools were able to attend. I'm just so proud of NWCTA's members, especially the new ones. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year with the members. As always, wonderful banquet NWCTA. Can't wait for the next one.

I absolutely love banquets because it allows our club to come together in so many different ways. For one, it allows a group of people that usually don’t talk to each other otherwise to come together and share our creativity. We can all brainstorm and find new ways to be more efficient or create a beautiful final product together. Banquets definite-ly bring out the creative side of the club. Banquets are also a reminder of why we’re in Key Club. We spend time with our fellow members, our second family, and we share our common love of helping each other. In the beginning of the year, we talk about where we hope to go and we thank the new members for dedicating their time and energy into our great organization. At the end of the year, we reflect on all of the great memories we’ve made and hopes for the upcoming year. Pre-paring for the banquet and setting it all up was a lot of hard work and stress, but in the end it all paid off. A lot of people said that they en-joyed the decorations, the music, and that they had a generally good time, which was exactly what banquet committee was hoping for! A huge thank you to Krysta Phoumiphat and Akiko Govan for working so hard with the decorations, planning, and organizing the entire event. Without you two, the banquet definitely wouldn’t have been successful as it was. I hope that everyone had a wonderful time at the Induction Banquet, and I hope to see you all help set up for the next banquet and be a guest as well!

Just when you thought the Springs Preserve couldn’t become any cooler, they host one more event at the end of the year geared towards the holidays. The Holiday Spectacular is one of the best events -- if not the best event -- of the entire volun-teering year. For the month of December, Springs Preserved is decked out in holi-day decorations and spirit, creating not only a fun atmosphere for the families but for the volunteers as well. The Holiday Spectacular is such a fun event because the whole place is so lively and just happy in general. The kids have a great time be-cause you’re there running the games, working the booths, helping serve hot choc-olate and candy, and making the night so fun for them and their families. It’s hard not to be happy when you see the kids having so much fun, am I right? If you only do one event this entire winter break, let it be the Holiday Spectacular. I promise you won’t regret it.
