Thesystem integrates business management and quality ensuring robustcontrols are applied to all business, design, manufacturing, service andsupply chain activities across Rolls-Royce.

    Applications:

    Rolls-Royce applies robust controls to its supply chain and externalrelationships. The Supplier Quality Assurance controls are supported withthe Supplier Advanced Business Relationships (SABRe) system and the(MPCBM 4VQQMJFS 1PSUBM (41 4"#3F QSPWJEFT B GSBNFXPSL BOE TUBOEBSEset of requirements and processes agreed between Rolls-Royce and itssuppliers, and provides the basis for scope for supplier approval. The(41 QSPWJEFT B TFDVSF XPSL BSFB UP CF BDDFTTFE BOZ UJNF CZ TVQQMJFST and Rolls-Royce employees that automates and accelerates purchasingbusiness functions. A web portal that acts as the single location for allsuppliers to receive important information and interact withRolls-Royce (e.g. enables suppliers to view their balanced quality anddelivery scorecards and deviations).

    The supplier quality and development organisation within Rolls-Royceincludes a number of key functions:

    and maintains the approved vendor list (AVL) utilising the Rolls-Royceestablished Supplier Total Evaluation Process (STEP). This processencompasses numerous assessments designed to help suppliers achieveclass-leading performance, and is used as a central means of assessingsupplier capability and performance. This function can also qualifysuppliers for supply of material to meet ASME code requirements.

It is also responsible for the containment of non-conformance and for driving root cause analysis for supply chain issues.Members of this function are green or black belt accredited and drivequality and delivery performance into the supply chain.

    Our Instrumentation and Controls business is certied separately toISO9001:2000 and the TickIT guide Issue 5.5.

    Rolls-Royce is in the process of building a new plant for civil nuclear work that will be accredited for ASME N, NPT, NS, and MO activities appropriateto the design, procurement, manufacture, inspection, test and certicationof Nuclear vessels and components.

    As an accredited ASME N-Stamp holder Rolls-Royce will operate processesthat deliver the levels of control and authorisation required to meet anycustomer quality requirements.
