sNiCKers® brand Nfl minis: A football fan favoriteIt’s certainly no secret that around here we love football season. One
of the most fun things about football season is of course football food!
SNICKERS® has recently introduced their new SNICKERS Brand NFL
Minis in Walmart stores everywhere just in time for your pigskin parties.
The new SNICKERS Brand NFL Minis are miniature versions of the
SNICKERS bar that we all know and love that are all wrapped in NFL
team logos. These make them the perfect snack treat this football season
while you’re sitting watching the games.
During football season, we keep our TV on and tuned to the latest football
game and we love to indulge in football food! I’m so excited to introduce
SNICKERS Brand NFL Minis to our food lineup this fall. I can see having
these out with popcorn along for snacking while watching the game, or
even using the SNICKERS Brand NFL Minis as part of a dessert -- maybe
even s’mores! My kids will love them! They’re also educational -- if you
ask a die-hard football fan like me. What better way to teach your kids all
about the NFL team logos and who they are and what part of the country
they represent, than with this unique bagged candy?!

SNICKERS Stadium Brownies
I found this recipe on the back of the Ghirardelli’s Brownie Mix. I changed up a few things. You can use this with any brownie recipe.
INGREDIENTSBrownie MixPopcornSNICKERS Minis, chopped
TECHNIQUEPrepare brownie mix according to directions. Pour into a greased pan. Spread a layer of popped popcorn on the top. You can use Kettle Corn, Buttered Corn or Plain. Layer on 2 cups of chopped SNICKERS Minis. Press gently into brownie mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes. Cool in pan. Store in airtight container. These cannot be frozen.

sNiCKers® treats for football seasonFootball season also means great tailgating and fun food to eat.
SNICKERS® has teamed up with the NFL to offer mini bars with the
NFL logo – of your FAVORITE team. These candies are being sold
exclusively in Walmart. Be sure to stop in and get some of your own.
I think the bagged candy is so much easier to store and it keeps
everyone (me included) from eating too much at one time! Thanks
SNICKERS! Yesterday I picked up a few bags of minis to make treats
for our tailgating event this weekend.
I decided to make this decadent chocolate dessert. You can also add
more chocolate chips or peanuts. This time I omitted both of those and
the results are great. It has all the stadium favorites right in the brownie!

sNiCKers® salad recipe – Perfect for football season! Before the game even starts everyone is getting in the mood:
tailgating, playing games, and talking to your seat neighbors in the
season ticket area. And then they have a little parade outside the
arena with cheerleaders, a band, and much more. I would imagine that
even if you weren’t a football fan, you’d have a hard time not getting
caught up in it all by attending a live event.
For most of the season this year we’ll be watching the games at
home on TV. And if you’re going to watch football on TV, you need
snacks! One snack that I like to make for tailgating is a recipe that
I first had nearly two decades ago (wow, it kind of hurts to say that).
My cousin would always make it for special family gatherings, games,
and receptions. It’s called SNICKERS® Salad; yes, a salad made with
candy bars! And it’s super-easy to make.
9
SNICKERS Salad
INGREDIENTS 1 8oz tub whipped topping 4 large Granny Smith apples 1 bag (11.5 oz.) mini SNICKERS® (approx. 30-35 minis) 1 C milk 1 pkg. (3.4oz.) instant vanilla pudding mix
TECHNIQUEDice the apples into small chunks. Cut the mini SNICKERS into bite-size pieces (roughly in half or thirds). In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk. When smooth, fold in the whipped topping. Stir diced apple into the pudding mixture; fold in the SNICKERS pieces. Can be served immediately, but best if chilled for a couple of hours first. Before serving, sprinkle a few SNICKERS pieces across the top of the salad.
10
Chocolate Covered Strawberries (that look like little footballs)
INGREDIENTS Strawberries Chocolate Pieces
TECHNIQUE Wash and dry strawberries. (That’s very important or the chocolate won’t stick) Melt chocolate pieces (They make a container with chocolate pieces already in it that you just microwave…I love it. no mess) Dip and lay them out on wax paper. Decorate with white icing to make the “laces.” If you don’t have a decorating bag and tip…just put your icing in a ziploc bag and cut a tiny hole in one corner. When you squeeze the bag, the icing will come out slowly.

fantasy football with sNiCKers® minisOn a recent shopping trip to Walmart…I was inspired. With the start
of football season, why not have a Fantasy Football Party to celebrate
the start of football season (and school starting!!!). Not only were there
SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis with NFL team logos on the wrappers,
but…there was also a 2012 Fantasy Football Handbook.
I made a lot of food for our party. The most fun part were these football
strawberries.
Now…with the goodies on the table, we can start the great debate.
Whose team will conquer all?? I can already hear them now! My hubby
loves the Steelers, Chris loves the Redskins, and Eli loves the Titans.
Me, hmmm…I don’t have a TRUE love like they do. I’m from NC, so I’m
a little partial to the Panthers. With the help from my Fantasy Football
Handbook, I think I’ll surprise my boys! (hopefully)

mom’s favorite sport: fantasy football sNiCKers® minisConfession time! Yes, again. Here it is — I am obsessed with fantasy
football! No, not football. Fantasy football. I blame my dear husband.
Back when we were dating, he asked if I wanted to join his league. That
year it was free and I said sure. I knew nothing about football.
The guys let me play and I won! I won the entire season! I beat all of
those silly guys! Now here we are five years later and I’m still playing.
We play for money now and I’m still in.
On Pinterest I had seen a number of SNICKERS® brownies. The
ingredients were on my list but I changed my mind when I was at
Walmart. J’s favorite cake is yellow cake with chocolate frosting. So I got
it in my head that yellow cupcakes with a SNICKERS Mini in the middle
could be amazing.
13
SNICKERS® Minis Cupcakes INGREDIENTS 1 box yellow cake mix 12 ounces of clear soda (this is my alternative to using oil and eggs) 18-24 SNICKERS® Minis (depending on how many cupcakes you make)
TECHNIQUEPreheat over according to directions on cake mix box. Empty the cake mix into a bowl. Add the soda. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Place cupcake liners in muffin pan. Fill each liner 3/4 full. Place one SNICKERS Mini in the center of each cupcake. Bake according to directions on cake mix box. Cool before serving.
14
Snickers Cheesecake Cupcakes INGREDIENTS 2-8oz packages cream cheese 3 tablespoons butter (melted) 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 tbsp. sour cream 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup chopped SNICKERS ® + extra for topping caramel topping (optional) 1 cup crushed Oreos peanuts (optional)
TECHNIQUEPreheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cupcake pan with baking cups. Crush Oreos and mix with melted butter. Press one heaping tablespoon of Oreo crumbs into each baking cup. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, and sour cream. Add in eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Fold in chopped Snickers. Fill baking cups 2/3 way full; bake for 22-24 minutes. Cool; add caramel, peanuts, and chopped Snickers on top (optional)

mini sNiCKers® CheesecakesWhile the guys had a little fantasy football party of their own, my best
friend and I had fun catching up. Mini Snickers Cheesecakes and
hanging out with my best friend? Yes, please!
I like having an excuse to make tasty desserts and my husband likes
it even more if it involves having friends over. This weekend we had
my best friend and her husband over while the kids stayed the night
at grandma & grandpas house. I made mini SNICKERS cheesecakes
for our little gathering and they were a big hit!
I did make sure to buy the new SNICKERS ® Brand NFL Minis I
found at Walmart.
I think they’re so cute! Each SNICKERS ® Brand NFL Minis has a
team logo on it and the NFL logo on the back. They’re perfect for
tailgating parties!
The mini snickers cheesecakes were AMAZING. They’re very easy to
make too!

fantasy football Draft Party by the Pool w/sNiCKers® minisHimself loves some Fantasy Football. He’s not very good at it, but he
does enjoy the competition. So we decided to host a Fantasy Football
pre-draft party Florida style…by the pool with laptops. Since this is a
practice round for the real online draft, it mimics the process. People
swam a little, ate a lot and kept a close eye on their computers.
The bragging boasting crowing know-it-all discussions began as soon
as people began to trickle in. Everyone seemed a little tight-lipped
when asked who their picks would be. Since this was a preliminary
draft party…the real draft comes a little later…everyone was having
fun sharing stats and looking at the various fantasy football sites
online.
I created some wondrous Snickers Lava Cupcakes made with
SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis for this hungry crowd. There are always
part of our football gatherings...everybody loves them. You will too!
17
Snickers Lava Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Frosting
INGREDIENTS2 cups sugar 2 eggs1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup milk3/4 cup Cocoa 1/2 cup vegetable oil1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons vanilla extract1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1 cup boiling water1 teaspoon salt 24 Snickers Minis frozen, chopped
TECHNIQUEHeat oven to 350°F. Stir together dry ingredients in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes. Slowly stir in the boiling water (the batter will be pretty thin). Fill paper baking cups 1/2 full with batter. Place one frozen candy bar in batter. Add an additional 2 tablespoons batter on top to ensure the candy bar is covered. IMPORTANT: Make sure that you freeze the candy to be placed inside of the cupcake. If they are not frozen they will melt too quickly and fall to the bottom of the cupcake. Bake 22 to 25 minutes.
18
Snickers Cupcakes in a Jar
INGREDIENTS 1 40 oz Bag of SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis (chopped) 4 Tbsp. Powdered Sugar 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix (can use Gluten Free) 1/4 Tsp. Vanilla Eggs (as directed) Caramel Syrup for Drizzle Oil (as directed) 24 4 Oz Jars (Half Pint Size) 1/2 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
TECHNIQUE Preheat oven to 350*. In a large bowl, make cake mix according to package directions. Add the chopped minis; mix well. Spray jars with nonstick cooking spray; fill about 1/2 to 2/3 full. Bake 25-30 minutes or until done. While cooling, whisk together the whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla until it is whipped cream. This works best with a stand mixer on high. Wilton 1M tip and a cake decorating bag and fill it with whipped cream then frost the cupcakes. Slice a mini into 4’s for each cupcake and place on the whipped cream; drizzle with caramel syrup. These need to be served immediately or kept in the fridge to avoid the whipped cream from melting.

sNiCKers® Cupcakes in a JarI believe it was this past weekend that football season began in
our house! Along with football season comes sweet treats and
snacks for parties! I will admit, football is not my thing but cooking
and baking is, so I’m typically in charge of the food. This past
weekend, I decided to try a new treat, Snickers Cupcakes in a Jar
using the SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis. I thought using football
minis was fitting for a football watching party!
My diet is gluten free and have been fine eating Snickers. The
first thing I did was process some of the minis to put in the
cupcake batter. I went by the method of 1 mini per cupcake, so
I used 24 minis and put those in the processor. I chopped them
up into a ball of chocolate, then tossed them in with the cupcake
batter and mixed them in.
I used 24 4 oz. canning/jelly jars tfrom Walmart. I love the idea
of making these in a jar because it’s very easy for your football
guests to eat, plus it’s easy clean up too! A little homemade
whipped cream on top does the trick for these.

sNiCKers® minis Chocolate Candy tartsWhen I decided to go to Walmart to purchase Snickers bagged
candy for my Chocolate Candy Tarts recipe, I was excited to find the
SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis. How cool would that be for the start
of football season to serve to my man as we cheer on the Patriots?
Even though we are still in Spring Training, it is time to get our cheer
game on! What better way to show support for your team than to rip
the wrappers off all the “trash” teams and throw them away where
they belong! My husband and I unwrapped all of the wrappers except
for the GREATEST TEAM EVER and put the most deserving team
– THE PATRIOTS! – on top where they should be! I know it says on
the sign below that you can pick up every fan’s favorite teams, but
trust me, you should be a Pats fan – your recipe will taste better!
The Snickers Minis Chocolate Candy Tarts came out so good. My
husband loved them and insisted that I make them for the big game
night for his friends. The caramel and chocolate just made them
perfect. I was very pleased with the whole concoction.
21
Chocolate Candy Tarts INGREDIENTS 1 Box Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crusts 2 tablespoons sour cream 20 SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis chopped 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter 8 oz cream cheese, softened Caramel sauce 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons sugar Chocolate sauce 1 egg
TECHNIQUEHeat oven to 450°F. Line Muffin tins with Pie crust. Bake 6 minutes. Place chopped SNICKERS Brand NFL Minis as the bottom layer. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and eggs until smooth. Add sour cream and peanut butter. Add mixture on top of the chopped SNICKERS. Bake 40 minutes or until center is firm. Cool Completely.
22
Snickers Cheesecake Pops
INGREDIENTS 2 1/2 lb. New York Style Cheesecake (mashed with a fork, chilled 2 hours) 40 SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis (frozen; cut into fourths) 14 ounces chocolate chips (I used bittersweet, can use other varieties) 4” lollipop sticks (approx. 30) Wax paper TECHNIQUECover baking sheet with wax paper. Scoop small balls of cheesecake (approx. 1.5” diameter). Roll into balls. After all cheesecake balls are made, place tray in refrigerator. Melt chocolate. Dip one end of a lollipop stick into chocolate, allow excess to fall off. Insert chocolate dipped end of the stick into the middle of cheesecake balls. Refrigeratate until chocolate is firm. Dip cheesecake pop into melted chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off. Immediately roll/dip/sprinkle cheesecake pop with chopped SNICKERS. Place on waxpaper. Place baking sheet or dish back into refrigerator until chocolate is firm.

sNiCKers® Cheesecake PopsWhile I don’t know much about football, I think I know my stuff
when it comes to cooking food and treats for football games.
Party food, game day food, tailgating foods — whatever you call
it, a lot of what I cook fits in.
Today, I’m going to share one of the yummiest treats you can
make for your next game day party: Snickers Cheesecake Pops.
And since I know you want to spend your time watching the
game, you’ll be happy to know this is actually fairly simple, but
impressive enough that your guests will think you’re a genius.
For these Snickers Cheesecake Pops, we’ll be using
SNICKERS® Brand NFL Minis and a pre-made New York Style
Cheesecake from the bakery section at Walmart.
Here’s my favorite part — throw your cheesecake in a bowl
(Crust and all). Mash up the cheesecake with a fork, paying close
attention to breaking up the pieces of the crust. Place in the
refrigerator to chill for 1-2 hours. click
