• Who?: Students and teachers in the same school.

• What?: Students can get help with homework and other school work from teachers and peers.

• When?: After school or before school.• Were?: At home, or anywhere that isn’t

school.• Why?: If someone didn’t understand a

new subject or lesson they could get extra help after school.

Page 3: SnaklePakle Apps Powerpoint

• A student has homework that confuses him/her at home and can’t do their homework, so they are able to watch videos for extra help on an assignment in the app

So what is a likely situation for our app?

Page 4: SnaklePakle Apps Powerpoint

How can we get help on homework after school hours?

What question were we asking when we thought of the app?

Page 5: SnaklePakle Apps Powerpoint

• A student is at home and they’re ready to do their homework for the day. However, todays lesson was confusing and they feel like they need extra help. Teachers can upload videos to help them with such topics.

Our insight statement:

Here at SnaklePakle Studios we

wanted to create an app from the

students point of view that was

helping and friendly with school

confusion

Elevator Pitch:

Page 7: SnaklePakle Apps Powerpoint

Alec Erb’s interview• Alec Erb is a 14 year student at

Sacajawea Middle School. • He resides in Spokane Washington. • He lives at home with his 2 brothers and

his mother• When questioned about the app he said

“it would personally help me with my homework, because I sometimes lose or forget my homework.”

• He feels that it wouldn’t be complex for him as an experienced app user, and he believes beginners won’t have any trouble either.

John Porco’s Interview

• John Porco is a 13 year old student at Sacajawea Middle School.

• He lives in Spokane Washington.• He personally would not use this app

because he does not need homework help. If he did need help he would most likely get the app.

• He lives in Spokane, Washington with his brother, and parents.

• He said that the app has potential, but the possibility of us making it is a little far fetched.

• He suggested adding something to make it more extraordinary.

Don Kelly, a 7th grade student says, “I would use this app every day, because it is nicely built, and has a lot of features that are easy to use and figure out. On the other hand, there are a few confusing tabs, that would need to be worked out.”

Kim Powell’s

User feedback

Kim Powell, an 8th grade algebra teacher at Sacajawea middle school, says that “I think kids who are struggling with their classes would really use this app. I think that you could maybe add a link to PowerSchool, or another place where kids could check their grades. Also, maybe a notification on your phone would help remind kids.”

We learned how different functions of an app work together,Like buttons working with pages. It was very interesting to

learn the links
