SMYRNA BAPTIST ASSOCIATION September 13 - October 27, 2015
A Call to Prayer….
As moderator of Southern Baptist churches in Southeast Georgia known as the Smyrna Baptist Association, I would like to take this opportunity to call our churches to a season of prayer as we approach our 2015 Annual Meeting. This Season of Prayer begins on Sunday, September 13th to Tuesday October 27th.
As our Time, Place, and Preacher committee met earlier in the Summer, I recommended to them that our theme for our annual meeting would be … “Lord...Send Revival.” We need revival, our nation needs revival, our state and counties need revival, our churches need revival! I need revival! How about you?
Following the enclosed Prayer Guide, pray daily for the congregations, Pastors and the mission of our churches. If God’s people are revived… the rest of the matters we are all concerned about will take care of themselves.
I firmly believe God placed all 46 churches here in our association for today! We are still on the journey called the “Great Commission.” We are “cooperating Baptists,” so let’s join together as we pray for each other!
