145cm, 14.1hh, 11year old, gelding, flea-bitten grey, Connemara X.

Eye catching hunting & competition pony who is extremely experienced in many disciplines.

We have owned Joe for four years during which time he has taught our daughter masses taking her from local competitions to National Championships. He and our daughter have hunted regularly with several different packs including South Devon, Mid Devon, Exmoor, Silverton, Cotley, Taunton Vale and Heythrop. A very easy and mannerly hunter who will go first or last.

They have represented the Pony Club for the past two years at area inter branch competitions in the dressage, show jumping and eventing teams. Qualifying for the national championships as an individual in dressage, scoring 79% and coming 12th nationally also individual sixth this year in the eventing.

They have taken part in many NSEA competitions including team show jumping and arena eventing and competed at the SJ championships at Addington Manor last year going clear in each round finishing 8th nationally.

Joe would also make a lovely working hunter pony and was entered for Devon County last year but the show was cancelled. He is a really fun, experienced and safe all-rounder who has taken part in a wide variety of activities including attending four pony club camps, showing, dressage, show jumping, eventing and hunting.

Wonderfully easy temperament, extremely straightforward to do in all ways, clipping, shoeing, loading, exercising alone or in company, rides and leads, good with dogs, great in wide open spaces or traffic, very easy to take away to competitions for the day or longer, alone or with others. Fully vaccinated, wormed and teeth up to date. Clipped and fit! Open to vet.

An experienced competition pony/hunter with many years ahead of him now looking for a competitive and competent rider to have lots of fun with. This is a very, very reluctant sale but his jockey is just far too tall for him now. An experienced 5 star hunting/competition home essential.
