SOLUTION TECHNICAL SPECS

Bit4id’s SmartTSA is a solution based on proprietarytechnology software providing secure and auditable time

signing for any request compliant with the ExtendedPublic Key Infrastructure (PKIX).

SmartTSA can be used to easily verify the validity of adocument. To guarantee authenticity, integrity, andtraceability of information, SmartTSA relies on the PublicKey Infrastructure (PKI).

The platform uses the NTP protocol to synchronize itsinternal clock with external high-reliable time sourceswhich are configurable through the admin panel.

To guarantee fault tolerance and load balancingSmartTSA comes with a High Availability configuration. It isable to send alert messages in case of unexpectedbehaviour and provides report messages to summarize

the status of the system.

SmartTSA embeds a PCI-Express module with a SecureExecution Engine (SEE) and all the cryptographic functionsare performed within the module.
