You can identify drivers that breach regulations quickly and easily, quite a task if you have

development can be prioritised for drivers that need it most. It provides a full audit trail of

driver and debriefer interactions to show the authorities that you are taking all reasonable

How do you get started?First of all you need to sign up to Smartanalysis, see www.tachograph-analysis.co.uk

A Debrief Scheme will need to be set up by your SmartanalysisAdministrator to account for any infringements and highlight good or bad driver performance. The Debrief Scheme is fully configurable to your requirements. Points are allocated to various infringements, andlevels set to track a driver’s cumulative performance.

Once it is set up, you just need to decide when and where (which depots) to

start and who should perform the debriefings.

Help is available in our User Guides and Videos on the Smartanalysis web site

www1.smartanalysis.com when you sign up.

NFT adopt Smartbrief tomanage drivers andsafeguard complianceNFT is the market leader in theprovision of time critical, chilledlogistics services to food and drinkmanufacturers and grocery retailers.

Managing and maintainingcompliance is a burden for anytransport operator with severepenalties if things go wrong. For anoperator specialising in food anddrink it is even more complex.

NFT looked at several solutions formanaging their operator compliancebut found the Smartanalysis solutionto be the best on offer and have been using it since 2007. WithSmartanalysis you only pay for thedriver records downloaded ratherthan a fixed fee per week. This makesit more cost effective for NFT and wasa key consideration in adopting it.

NFT worked with Exentra to helpdevelop a driver debriefing modulefor use with Smartanalysis. Thisenables NFT to monitor drivers’compliance at specific depots acrossthe whole fleet and identify quicklydepots and specific drivers wherecompliance is a problem.

The software enables NFT to gostraight to any open infringements, see the drivers’ record and monitorrepeat infringements. Smartdebriefhelps NFT in applying training anddevelopment to the drivers that needit most.

Smartdebrief and Smartanalysis willensure that NFT exceeds the VOSAstandard and remains compliant.

“We take compliance very seriouslyat NFT. We have used Smartanalysissince 2007 and found it to be thebest solution for managingcompliance. It is also cost effectivefor our business. Exentra listen toour needs and were fully preparedto develop new software so thatSmartdebrief fitted with ourbusiness requirements.” David Seaton MIRTE MSOE MIMIFleet Engineer, NFT
