The EMDR-10 control unit operates on temperature and moisture sensing

• Combined temperature and moisture sensing

• Temperature sensor de-activates the system at

– High temperatures– Very low temperatures

(no melting)

• Moisture sensor de-activates the system when there is no moisture

– No moisture = no melt water = no risks for leaks

How the EMDR-10 works?

1. Air temperature is lower than the set-point

2. Moisture measurement is activated after 10 minutes

3. If moisture is present, the heating cable is switched on

4. Heating cable is switched off when:

1. Air temperature raises above set-point OR

2. Moisture is lower than set-pointOR

3. Air temperature is lower than the set ‚minimum‘ temperature.
