1. Manage Extensions - this screen2. Organization - for logical division of your Enterprise into specific Organizations, see pg 93. Provisioning - for batch uploading of Extensions4. Select Organization - using this drop-down box, you may sort your Extensions by

Organization.5. Search - allows you to filter results by searching6. Edit/Delete - Click on the page to Edit the Extension (see pg 7-8), click on the red X to Delete

it7. Extension - the extension number associated with the phone, mailbox, or call forward8. Name - this is the display name for the Extension. This will appear on the phone.9. DID - the direct dial number for an extension. An M next to the number indicates that the

Extension has multiple DIDs10. E-Mail - E-Mail address voicemail to email and/or inbound efaxes

11. Status - this indicator shows the registration status of the Extension. A green checkmarkshows that the Extension is registered. A yellow exclamation mark indicates that theExtension’s registration has timed out and it may need to be checked. A grey circle with aquestion mark indicates that the Extension has never registered or otherwise has beenunregistered for longer than the timeout; this could be due to the phone being disconnectedor without power. N/A shows that there is no device type or MAC address assigned to theExtension. If the indicator has a red N next to it, that indicates that it is set up for NAT(Network Address Translation).

12. Stats - click this icon in order to see the call statistics for an individual Extension.13. Panel - clicking this icon takes you to the User Panel for the Extension.14. Add Extension - click here to open the Add Extension dialogue, which is otherwise identical

to the Edit Extension dialogue, found on pg 7-8.

Add/Edit Extensions (cont.)

1. Organization - Select from your company’s list of organizations (see pg 9 for setup)2. Extension - The extension number of the phone3. Record Calls - Check this box to enable recording of this extension’s calls4. Allow Panel Access to Recorded Calls - Check this box to allow the recorded calls to be

accessed from the End User Panel5. Name - The Display Name on the extension. This will appear on the phone and is used for the

dial-by-name directory6. Hide from Directory - Check this box to hide this extension from the dial-by-name directory7. Email Address - The email address for the user associated with this extension, it will be used

for voicemail-to-email8. Mobile Phone - The mobile phone number of the user associated with this extension9. Incoming DID - The incoming phone number assigned to this extension10. Additional (Virtual) DIDs - You may assign additional incoming phone numbers to this

extension via this dialogue11. Personal Fax DID - Incoming eFax phone number12. Voicemail - Select to enable or disable voicemail for this extension13. Voicemail PIN - Voicemail PIN may be entered or reset here14. Panel Access - Check to allow access to the User Panel for this extension15. Alternate Mailbox - If this extension uses the mailbox of another extension, select it from

this menu16. Forward Calls - Enter the number to which calls should be forwarded in this box (can use a

phone number or extension number)17. Forwarding Enabled - Check to enable call forwarding18. Outgoing Caller ID - Enter the extension’s custom caller ID number here19. Dialing Area Code - For local 7 digit dialing to a specific area code, select the area code from

this menu20. Music On Hold - Extensions may use different Music On Hold, simply select from this menu21. Restricted Dialing - If the extension is intercom-only, check here to restrict outgoing calls22. Device Type - Select the extension’s device type from the menu23. MAC Address - Enter the device’s MAC Address here24. Update Extension - Click this button to save any changes made above25. Previous/Next Extension - Click these buttons to move to the previous or next extension26. Reset MWI - Click this button to clear the Message Waiting Indicator light on the phone27. Username - Clicking on the ‘Show SIP Details’ button (not shown) will show this info, which is

the SIP username for the extension28. Password - Clicking on the ‘Show SIP Details’ button (not shown) will show this info, which is

the SIP password for the extension29. End User Panel - The first link can be supplied to End Users so that they can reach their User

Panel, the second link will log you into the End User Panel directly

Organization

Clicking on “Organization” will bring you to this dialogue, which may be used to divide your company into logicalOrganizations for different departments, etc.

1. Edit/Delete - Click on the page to Edit the Organization, click on the X to Delete it2. Name - The Name of the Organization3. Members - How many extensions reside within the Organization unit

extension5. Name - This is an identifying name for the Extension6. DID - If the Group has a direct dial number, it will be listed here. An M next to the number

indicates that the Group has multiple inbound DIDs7. Type - The group type: Ring Only, Ring & Mailbox, Mailbox Only, & Page Group8. Members - This shows which extensions are members of this group9. Stats - Click this icon in order to see the call statistics for an individual Group10. Add Group - click here to open the Add Group dialogue, which is identical to the Edit dialogue

Add/Edit Group (cont.)

1. Group Name - The identifying name of the Group2. Group Extension - This is the Group’s Extension number; it may be dialed directly via this

extension3. CID Name Prepend - This will prepend the incoming Caller ID - Up to 15 characters may be

entered and will be passed along to the Members of the Group4. Voicemail PIN - The optional PIN for the Group’s mailbox, if any

5. Incoming DID - The incoming phone number for this Group; Clicking the allows you toassign additional virtual phone numbers to the Group

6. Greeting Mailbox - From this menu you may select the mailbox used by the Group7. Deliver Messages - Voicemail messages may be sent to either all Members individually or to

the Group’s Greeting Mailbox8. Voicemail/ring Delay - This menu allows you to select how long the Group rings total, each

ring is approximately 4 seconds9. Ring Strategy - This menu may be used to select the Ring Strategy of the group: Ring All,

Sequential, or Round-Robin10. Ring Extensions For - This menu allows you to select how long the Group rings each Member,

each ring is approximately 4 seconds (applies to Sequential or Round-Robin groups)11. Ring Back - This menu allows you to select either music to play during ringing of the

Extensions or just ringing only12. Record Calls - Check this box to record calls to this Group13. Hide from Directory - Check this box to hide this Group from the dial-by-name directory14. Forward Requests - If a Member of the Group has a forward set, check here to ignore it and

ring the Member directly; else it will allow the call to follow the forward15. Group Type - Select the type of Group here16. Members - This is a list of Group Members; the arrows allow you to rearrange the Members

(useful for Sequential or Round-Robin Ring Strategies) and the X allows you to Delete theMember

17. Add Member - From the first menu, Extensions or Organizations may be selected. To add anexternal phone number or other custom number to the group, use ‘any extension...’ ForExtensions, the second menu allows for selecting ‘primary channel,’ ‘full channel,’ or ‘fullextension’

18. Upon Timeout - Use these menus to program the behavior of the Group in event it times outwithout answer

19. Update Group - Click this button to save any changes made above20. Reset - Click this button to clear the form
