    The Reality

A quick visit to the latest crime statistics inEngland and Wales, a quick glance at the

youth unemployment in the United Kingdom

or even a look at the UKs Criminal Damage

and Anti-Social behaviour statistics will tell

you enough about the problems facing young

people around us. The problem leading many

young people to simply being overshadowed

by peer-pressure and slowly glide into the

unthinkable is the lack of engagementbetween them and the wider community. The

only time anybody speaks to them is whenthey are either blamed or they are

    somebodies short-term opportunity.

Creating a football club where we enter players into a competitive process that extends

through their personal lives and ensures in them becoming better individuals whilst playing

good football is something we are determined to achieve. We want and believe we can

generate that kind of environment simply because the demand for the game is extraordinary

when the right facilities and attention is available.

    Progressive Thinking

Small Heath Tigers FC not only offers a fun and progressive football development strategy

for young people, it also safeguards their future and steers them away from crime and anti-

social behaviour. We offer football far beyond the simple setup, with many benefits and a

comprehensive development system that will ensure young people develop their personal life

by maintaining in firm contact with them through sport, football in this instance. Whether it is

through reviewing academic progress or helping young people in finding employment, we are

focussed on ensuring a smooth partnership between social and personal development.

    The Big Picture

The aim is to provide an inclusive service where young people are given the health benefitsof football and at the same time establish a firm grip of their future. We want to ensure their

academic progression is maximized, their family relations are optimized, they are included in

the wider audience and they benefit others by creating their own supervised projects.

    OurVision

Football is important to young people. It gives them a status just like a qualification gives

one. There are many other methods that work to improve the lives of young people but it is

one that works, evidently from our short work. It offers the social entertainment that young

people need to stay both fit and happy, it released them away peer-pressure and steers them

away from crime and anti-social behaviour and above all; it gives us a platform for

    developing them.

We want to offer a comprehensive service to our players. We want to turn our small but fast

growing football club into a serious academy that caters for all young people and we want to

heavily invest in the correct programs for developing the personal lives of young people. Ourplans are partially developed and in development continuously and our goal is certainly

    achievable and necessary.

    Get In Touch!

We would love to hear from you. If you are volunteer, sponsor or funder, fan or want to help

the club in any way even through moral support, we highly value your efforts. Please get in

touch with us today; together we can make a lasting change.
