BIBLE STORYL E A D E R : “Today’s true Bible story is about someone who has the most amazing out-of-this-world power. I wonder what kind of power we have? Do you think we could stop the sun from shining in the sky? Let’s try. Everyone yell, ‘Stop, sun, stop!’ Ready?”

C H I L D R E N A N D L E A D E R : “Stop, sun, stop!”

L E A D E R : “Did we stop it? No. We don’t have the power to stop the sun. Do you have the power to make it rain? Let’s try. Everybody make it rain on the count of three. Ready? One, two, three, RAIN!

Make raining fingers by wriggling them from above your head down to your waist.

“Okay, stop! Is it raining? No? Do we have the power to make it rain? No. We don’t have the power. But, there is someone amazing who does! Do you know who it is? Jesus! Let's take a look at our Bible story together."
