This way you can wash your bag as needed. Lining: 2 x (314mm x 146mm) for sole panels 2 x (231mm x 228mm) for toe panels Used the same fabric outside and inside as a lining. Or use leather for the soles of the slippers to ensure durability. Batting: 2 x (314mm x 146mm) for sole panels 2 x (231mm x 228mm) for toe panels (any type you feel comfortable using on your embroidery machine) Thread: We used Marathon Rayon Thread 40wt. Use the same thread top and bottom for the satin outlines as this ensures a neat and professional finish

You need:

•  Fabric marker (very important)

•  Leather (optional) or you can use upholstery fabric for the soles of the slippers

Fabric: 2 x (314mm x 146mm) for sole panels

2 x (231mm x 228mm) for toe panels

any fabric will be suitableTIP: Make sure your fabric is washable.

This way you can wash your bag as needed.

Lining: 2 x (314mm x 146mm) for sole panels

2 x (231mm x 228mm) for toe panels

Used the same fabric outside and inside as a lining.Or use leather for the soles of the slippers to ensure durability.

Batting: 2 x (314mm x 146mm) for sole panels2 x (231mm x 228mm) for toe panels

(any type you feel comfortable using on your embroidery machine)

Thread: We used Marathon Rayon Thread 40wt.

Stabilizer: You need to hoop the stabilizer to finish your appliqué panels in the hoop

Adhesive spray: We used 505 spray

Sewing required: You will need a sewing machine to assemble the SLIPPERS. A simplezigzag stitch works fine.

Stitch out for a complete set of slippers:1

For the 4*4 hoop (SMALL) SIZE = APPROX. 3

For the 5*7 & 6*10 hoops (MEDIUM SIZE = APPROX. 5 & LARGE SIZE = APPROX. 7)

VERY IMPORTANT – mark all the panels as they are completed. This will enable you to

assemble the slippers with ease ☺ Color sequence:

1.  Appliqué default

TOE PANELS1.  Color stop 1 = Appliqué position (choose color to match your fabric)

2.  Color stop 2 = Material stitched (choose color to match your fabric)

Color stop 3+ = Design will now be stitched (see our color chart or follow your choice to match fabric)

4.  Pre-last color stop = Lining stitched (choose color to match your fabric)

Embroidery steps:

Hoop 2 x layers water soluble stabilizer and you can start stitching.

All panels are appliqué machine embroidery designsFollow these basic appliqué machine embroidery steps:

1st

Default color = appliqué position This is a running stitch indicating where the batting (1st layer) and fabric (2d layer) must be

 placed on top of the hooped water-soluble stabilizer.

2d Default color = material stitchedThis is a running stitch/zigzag stitch where your fabric and batting is stitched to the indicated

area in the hoop. Remove hoop from embroidery machine without interfering with the hooped

fabric. Cut away excess fabric. Attach hoop to embroidery machine and stitch step 3 3d Color = design will now be stitched – see color chart above.

Pre-last color = lining 

After step 2 remove hoop from embroidery machine without interfering with the hooped fabric.Turn around, spray adhesive spray to the back and attach the lining fabric. Attach hoop to

embroidery machine and stitch the color to follow = running stitch where the lining will be

stitched to the indicated area in the hoop. Remove hoop again and turn around – cutting away

excess fabric. Attach hoop to embroidery machine and stitch final satin outlineLast color = satin outline 

Construction:

* Using the same thread or invisible thread, stitch all panel together with a zigzag stitch on your sewing machine.

Lay out the panels…

5*7 & 6*10…left slipper (A&B TOE) + (A&B SOLE) & right slipper (A&B TOE) + (A&BSOLE)

4*4…left slipper (A&B&C&D TOE) + (A&B&C SOLE) & right slipper (A&B&C&D TOE) +

(A&B&C SOLE)1. Stitch the toe panels (A-right & B-right) and (A-left & B-left) to each other 

2. Stitch the sole panels (A-right & B-right) and (A-left & B-left) to each other 

3. Attach TOE panels to SOLE panels.4. Start form center front: Close the seam on the left & starting from the center again close the

seam on the right.
