The construction of the Academic Commons at Penrose Library started early last school year and is scheduled to be completed this coming March.
During the construction, students are given many places to study around campus. This is the balcony on top of Driscoll where students can study when the weather permits.
To some perspective DU students, the construction and the idea of not having a library is very unappealing.
DU has been very accommodating, making sure that the students have all the resources they need while the library is under construction.
Even with the construction, student still have access to a 24 hour computer lab and tech help center located in Driscoll.
Pearl street is one of the many off campus locations where students choose to study.

Coffee houses off campus give students a new atmosphere to study which often helps them focus.
Many off campus study spots have job post walls , giving students more opportunities around Denver that why might have never heard about.
