DESCRIPTION

Slashdot.org is technology news website that is driven by user-generated content, and operates with the slogan “News for Nerds.” The site deploys a unique commenting and story submission system, and has a core user base of males who are in their 30s. In this project, we conducted heuristic evaluation of the web service, surveys and usability testing to propose recommendations that could attract a younger generation of users to Slashdot.
