Guest Speaker: Dr. James MooreTheme: “Do you have Alligator Arms”"Alligator Arms" is a football term used bycoaches, players and commentators to de-scribe (and criticize) a would-be pass re-ceiver who keeps his arms protectively andtimidly in close to his ribs instead ofstretching out full length to catch the passbecause he senses a tackler bearing down on him and ismore interested in protecting himself from the hard hitthan in catching the ball. Having Alligator Arms also ap-plies to all of life; it means timidly, fearfully holding back(like the Rich Young Ruler in Mark 10:17-22) rather thanreaching out to embrace life. In the cruise lectures, we willexplore what it means to get rid of the alligator arms, tolet go of fear and to reach out and wrap your arms aroundlife, hope, and God.
