Moat, Project Manager Hensel Phelps Construction Company Coreslab Structures (ARIZ) Inc. recently fabricated, delivered, and erected 125' long 'U' 54 precast beams for Hensel Phelps Construction Company, utilized in the City of Phoenix Sky Train Bridge Crossing into the 40 th Street station. A "U" 54 precast beam can support one lane load per girder spanning up to 100' using AASHTO LRFD Bridge design specifications. Each member has 3.4 million LBS. force prestressing, and 2.4 million LBS force post-tensioning. They exceed typical highway loading.
