Registration is at 8.45 am, the course will commence promptly at 9.30 am and finish at 4.00 pm.

Quality Control and Documentary Proof: There will be no formal assessment other than a standard course evaluation form completed by each delegate which is processed within our quality management system to qualify as verifiable CPD in accordance with GDC guidelines.On successful completion of this course the delegate will receive a signed Course Certificate.

Educational Aims and ObjectivesThe main objective of this course is to guide and inspire the delegate through a ceramic layering technique, including staining applications, so as to offer aesthetics with natural anatomical contours in this sphere of restorative work.

Each delegate is expected to gain knowledge of the following subjects presented:

• Choosing the shade with a defined system

• Anterior and posterior crowns: individual layering technique

• Light-optical characteristics of the Duceram KISS-System

• The light-optical phenomena

Anticipated Educational OutcomeDelegates will gain knowledge of the subjects presented so as to achieve natural morphology and aesthetics in single unit ceramic work when using this porcelain system and thereby apply this learning to their practical work and ultimately improve the quality of restorations for patients.

A Dental Technician since 1991 and lecturing for Dentsply/ DeguDent since 1995, Katarzyna has also been consultant to and instructed at the DeguDent training Centre in Warsaw lecturing all over the world, including Austria, Israel, Russia, Germany, Italy, UK and USA. Her book “Ceramika dla kazdego” (“Ceramic for Everyone”) aimed at the Polish market was published in 2008.

Katarzyna specializes in ceramic work in all areas and also CAD/CAM, milling techniques, combination and implant work. She demonstrates ‘A basic and individual technique in ceramic application’ - based on the Duceram Love ceramics.

Katarzyna has written many articles in Polish dental publications and is a consultant for the magazine ‘Dental Labor’.

Course and Material DescriptionDuceram Kiss is a straightforward, durable ceramic material, that is well established in our daily dental-life and should under no circumstances be overshadowed by other ceramic materials. A broad thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) spectrum allows Duceram Kiss to be used across the entire range of alloys, whether precious alloys or non-precious alloys.

With the introduction of the Kiss Concept a new possibility has been created to fullfil

aesthetical demands in a simple and reliable way. A basic build up and an individually layered crown should easily achieve all aesthetic expectations.

This ceramics course utilises the excellent handling properties of the Kiss Concept. Layering and staining techniques will be demonstrated for single units to achieve vitality and anatomical form.
