Barcelona Barcelona is a sunshine mediterranean seaside city with architectural treasures and a well-known gastronomy regarding its traditional cooking. It is the capital of Catalonia and the second largest city in Spain after Madrid.
Barcelona contains sixty municipal parks, twelve of which are historic, five of which are thematic (botanical), forty-five of which are urban, and six of which are forest. Monjuïc is the largest and it is followed by Parc de la Ciutadella, Guinardó Park, Park Güell (designed by Antoni Gaudí) and lots more.
The School The school is less than 5 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, which is the very centre of Barcelona.
The language school facilities include 40 air-conditioned classrooms with natural light, interactive whiteboards, an
Internet Room, WiFi access, a library and study centre, a bar which is open all day, providing hot and cold food and drinks, a terrace where students can relax in the sunshine and bathroom facilities for disabled students. The classrooms usually contains an average of 7 students, ideal to meet individual needs through rich group dynamics. The maximum number of students per class is 10.
The school is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. It is also member of FEDELE (Federation of Associations of Schools of Spanish for Foreigners).
Accommodation All families are chosen carefully by SpanishJuice from our own clients who live in the best neighborhoods in the city. Our host families provide a single room accommodation with shared bathroom and full board meals.
The well-being of our students is very important to us and we make sure that our international students enjoy every aspect of their stay in our city. To make them feel home and independent, they will have their own copy of keys.
Our students will live in safe and caring Spanish homes, giving them an opportunity to improve their language skills and a chance to know a little bit more about the Spanish culture (and its gastronomy!).
