A reminder to students who will be receiving Confirmation and Holy Eucharist this year: Don't forget to participate in the retreat online at diokzoo.org/retreatathome You need to go to either the Confirmation retreat or the Holy Communion retreat Attend with your family and afterwards fill out the assessment at the end of the retreat. When you have done the activities and answered the questions, please send the assessment to the DRE so that we can know that you completed this requirement. You can send it by email, text or simply fill it out and mail it. This is due by May 15 if you want to be a candidate for the sacrament. After consulting with the participating students, the time for the Confirmation Class Zoom meeting on Wednesday has returned to 2PM. This does seem to be the most convenient time for the class. Announcement concerning the Aleman Center opening This year due to the COVID 19 crisis, clothing will not be distributed from the Aleman Center. Please do not bring any clothing to the Aleman Center. However, there will be distribution of food and bedding. Donations of sugar, flour, oil, salt, and canned goods can be dropped off. Also, sheets, blankets, and pillows can be brought to be distributed to the needy migrants coming to Southwest Michigan. Again, please do not bring clothing to the Aleman Center this year. Thank you for your cooperation.
