As one of four Centres identified by the Official Plan City-wide, Etobicoke Centre anticipates mixed use growth and economic activity centred around accessible higher order transit facilities.
The reconfiguration of Six Points has been provided for in various planning documents since 1987, most recently in the Etobicoke Centre Secondary Plan (2002).
