THE PROBLEMATIC SITUATION IN MY COMMUNITY IS

Beware of the pigeons

PROBLEMS

Their dejections corrode the stone of the historic buildings, they spoil cornices and roofs, dirty the monuments and degrade the facades in which they nest or rest.

-Indicate roofs, balconies and terraces to such an extent that, in some areas, it is not possible to lay clothes outside enclosures.

-Destroy the flower beds of the gardens and their ornamental plants.

-Under annoying noises in untimely hours.

-They come to cause health problems by transmitting infections of ornithological origin to the population.

SOLUTIONS

To avoid overpopulation, capture with nets or the use of raptors.

  Birth control of pigeons with contraceptive products. The population of pigeons of hormonal substances

that inhibit fertilization. Campaigns that are reduced to only an annual

treatment to keep the population stable.   Feeding them with treated grains for 150 days a

year.

CONCLUSION

The pigeons, when their control is correct (like adequate population, suitable

location and good health) are an added value to the beauty of any city. But if this comes out of control we would complicate it as it would be very harmful to society.
