Frequently Asked Questions (1)Can I update the assessment using more than one Internet Browser window?

No--doing so will corrupt the assessment data and will prevent your STA Site Engineer from being able to review the assessment. The site assessment should only be updated and submitted using one Internet Browser window.

Once the user has accessed the Ford Supplier Portal, click on the web based Q1 Manufacturing Site

Assessment application link—the homepage should be displayed, or go to:https://web.sfq.ford.com/sfq/home/msaHome.do

I get a list of errors when I try to submit my site assessment, what do I do?Go to the Site Information or Assessment sections as provided by the error message and

correct the errors, then resubmit the assessment—you will receive a message indicating successful submission when all errors have been eliminated.

Will I get a reminder email when my site assessment is due?No, however, the due date for the site assessment is displayed in SIM.

Frequently Asked Questions (5)My request to the web based Q1 manufacturing site assessment is rejected what do I do?In general, when an individual's application at a supplier is rejected by his/her company's Corporate Securities Administrator (CSA), he/she must contact the appropriate CSA to understand the rationale. Covisint will also provide a link to a list of CSAs in the rejection response/e-mail.

My computer locks up after I open the Reference manual and scroll a few pages of it.This is a Computer System problem (your PC, most likely the Browser settings) and is not a problem with the Q1 MSA application. Close all open applications on your system (except your Internet Browser), then try opening the file again. If it still locks up then attempt to save a copy of the file on to your hard disk and then open it. If this does not work, contact your local PC support group.

When I click the "next" or "save" button, I get the following error: "Application Exception: Please contact the application administrator for assistance".This is often caused by a session timeout – 20 minutes without activity. (Please see section 8 "Errors and Exceptions" of the Reference Manual).
