Red Mill Museum Village
Reception Location: The historic quarry wall is a prominent feature running the length of the property. The quarry lawn, set directly below the wall is the perfect
setting for receptions. The lawn is expansive and has dramatic ambiance as it is set in a natural amphitheater. On wedding nights, the wall is illuminated.
Ceremony & Rehearsal Site:
Most ceremonies held at the Museum utilize the picturesque river backdrop. Set between two graceful weeping willows, ceremony chairs are typically arranged with a gentle curve directing views over the river.
Bridal Suite: A climate controlled exhibit/conference room is
available to couples. This space can be used as needed for dressing, pre-ceremony assembling, and rehearsal-day storage of wedding décor, etc.
Restrooms: The facilities were recently renovated and offer large
mirrors and ample space for dressing.
Parking:
The grounds can accommodate a maximum of 50 cars without impeding on aesthetics. The parking and walking paths are lit in the evenings.
Electricity: Electrical outlets are available throughout property.

as an outdoor wedding venue. Weddings held at
the Museum can accommodate up to 200 people.
There is no minimum number of guests. Each

cars. Recently renovated restrooms can
accommodate up to 200 guests.
Site Fee The rental fee permits couples to host their rehearsal,
ceremony, and reception on site and allows for the tent,
rental, and caterers to set up 48 hours in advance. The
rental fee supports the operations of the Museum, which is
a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The flat fee for renting the site is
$3,200.
Dates & Availability
As the Museum is an outdoor facility, we advise couples to
consider dates according to seasonal weather. Please
note that the Museum is closed from the last weekend of
September through the end of October and cannot
accommodate weddings during this time. Available
wedding dates are limited due to other Museum programs.
Please select your potential dates and contact us as soon
as possible. Weddings are booked on Saturdays only.
On The Wedding Day
On wedding days, the Museum closes the grounds to the
public at 3pm so that guests can enjoy a private
event. The outer buildings are kept open until dusk for
guests to explore. Couples can request the Red Mill to
remain open for an additional fee to cover the cost of
additional staff. On the day of weddings, the Museum
provides staff to oversee grounds-related needs such as
parking, information, and restroom tidiness.
Additional Services & Information The Museum can provide a list of other area wedding ser-
vices such as guest accommodations, spas, etc. Serving
alcohol is permitted onsite upon receipt of liquor liability
