STEPPING IN 2010 to WIN!
Encouraging God’s Woman
MMMooorrrnnniiinnnggg BBBrrreeewww NNNeeewww YYYeeeaaarrr!!! LLLeeettt’’’sss WWWiiinnn!!! We are in it! 2010 arrived on time! Just as we anticipate the birth of a deeply desired baby, we all anticipate each
New Year; with all its glitter and horns we celebrated around the world. Along with the New Year many of us have new
expectancies for our individual lives, but for some it may be just another day, just another year because they have no
hope. There is a greater expectancy that we have in the Body of Christ that really needs our attention like never before. As we
study the Word of God do you know that there is a greater celebration coming for us than we could ever imagine? Only those
that have accepted Jesus are celebrating this. Do you know as we count down the New Year's clock that we’re also counting
down to the return of Jesus Christ? Although we, as Christians, look forward to His return our focus must be greater to win
this year and the few years to come (not many years).
So what do you need to be doing? We must be carrying out the great commission. Mark 16:15 Go you therefore and
preach the gospel to every creature” (please read v.16-18 too.) First, examine your life, have you accepted Jesus as Savior
and made Him Lord? If your answer is yes, good. If your answer is no or if your answer is yes but, then you have a need to
repent; God has given you another opportunity
to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. (See prayer below) This is a time of urgency! Don’t be left behind. No more
rejecting truth, there’s no life without Jesus; eternal life will be hell without Him. If you are caught in the time after the return
of Christ, the only truth then is this truth we are speaking now. God’s Word will be the only truth even then. In the time of
tribulation the one thing to reject is the anti-Christ; and never, no matter, what take the mark of the beast as spoken of in
Revelations.
Read these scriptures: Luke 13: 22
Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23
Someone asked him,
"Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, 24
"Make every effort to enter through the narrow door,
because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25
Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door,
you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you
come from.' 26
"Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' 27
"But he will reply, 'I don't
know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evil doers!' 28
"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth,
when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. 29
People
will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30
Indeed there
are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last." 2. Once you have assured your position in Christ begin
now (each day), as if you do not have another, in the sense of loving others and doing the best towards others as God does for
you.
Woe, is this life in a nutshell? If we have not love we have nothing and if we love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and
are destined to do His will, then; we will please our Father and surely win others that are lost in these last days.
Q. Now, what should all that know Him be doing? Winning! Winning souls and winning in life!
A. Make all that He has called you to do, to reconcile others to Him, a mission in life.
In doing so, you are now moving into the steps of winning in 2010.
The Great Expectation! Let's Step in! Let's win big! Midday Tea! Power Up! 10,9,8,7,6,5,4, 3,2,1 NOW! Pray this prayer, please!
Father in the name of Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of sin, right now I believe Jesus is
the Son of God, He died on the cross for me, buried, and was raised from the dead giving His life. I ask
you Jesus, come into my heart, I except you as Savior and ask you to be Lord of my life now and forever
more. Thank you Lord! I am saved!
If you did not pray with me, please don't wait too long; we are leaving when Jesus returns!

Happy New Year Friends! It’s great to be back
to fellowship with you. Time off for the holidays went great!
I saw friends and relatives that I do not get to see as often of
course and that was simply super! God showered me with His
goodness and I am most grateful. When I think of what He
did for me in all that I receive I have to be completely honest
and share with you. He provided my needs but, He also gave
me my desire. I was saving up for a new game, I was close to
having just enough. This is what I really want to share with
you, my mom and I started giving more. At church when the
tithes and offerings are received, someone reads a scripture
and expounds on tithing and giving but, we began to notice
that they constantly point out giving specifically to the poor,
widowed, etc., that gripped mom’s heart. We hear it all the
time; mom says “it’s the Word; when give we will receive.”
Mom said to me, “we are going to change the way that we
give, we are going to add to our giving specifically to the
poor.” I noticed right away she said “we,” that included me.
You know my first thought was, (I know it came from the
devil because it went against what I am taught from the Bible)
“you’re not going to have enough to get what you want if you
give up a portion of your savings; ok, maybe that was my
thought too, but the devil illuminated it in my mind,
personally for a moment I could just scream! That game that I
wanted, I received it for Christmas! God did it, above that He
gave us, my mom and me, time together. You see my mom
got a full time job with better work hours that made life better
for me. Well, I am glad not for personal gain but, just
because I know I’m making a difference when I give. Now, I
see that God is involved in my life and I want even more to
be involved in what concerns God, loving and helping
people. My gifts were not too small for God to notice and
I’m not too young to walk in God’s plan. I’m not perfect, but
I am a God loving teen. I know in 2010 God has more in store

ABOUT I. G. Roland At the tender age, of eight Roland began working numerous jobs to
help support his disabled mother and siblings. His mother had
sustained extensive injuries from an attack by robbers. In spite of
his enormous responsibilities, Roland was a successful student. He
completed secondary school and qualified for advanced level high
school education in Uganda. Students in Uganda must pay for their
high school education. Roland helped pay his tuition by working at
the high school doing maintenance cleaning. Now a young man
Roland is still pursuing his dream of coming to America to attend
college - and to be able to grow his art and writing — through love.

Give your best gift Too often people think that giving a little isn’t a lot and
too often people measure giving by the number or how
much; giving by God’s standard is unlike man. I think we
can sometimes miss the value of the gift by placing a
numerical value to it even when it can be counted
numerically. This kind of thinking can push us to
compare, boast, and completely miss it with God’s
blessings in this area. A few points here, (1) Do not
minimize your gift or someone else’s. (2) Don’t hold back
on your best gift, God didn’t. (3) Don’t take advantage of
people that are willing to give. (4) Seek and listen to God
concerning all things including, giving. (5) Have a pure
heart in giving, and remember your giving is between you
and God. ~Thank God for all the comforts of life we have and
eternal life He provided for all through His giving~ read

Not the Perfect Writer I don’t consider myself the perfect writer
I am not an item of display.
I do compose serious verses with my Godly talent.
trust me when I say “It’s Not Just for Play”.
I don’t write for the kind of profit, most people
normally would.
I do publish for the serious at heart and I would do
this for no price if I could.
I’m a verse maker; the one who loves to compose
from, Life’sDaily Events.
I bring it all together and spread the ink for the
reality to make sense.
I don’t consider myself the perfect writer
I am not really about entertaining.
I hurt so bad from life’s experiences
I write them down to keep from complaining.
I use to cry, get angry and spew words I shouldn’t
say.
Now I look at it as another opportunity to put on
paper that has come my way.
People don’t care because I compose a verse or
write from my point of view. No one really cares,
but people relate to the poetry and what they have
been through.
I don’t consider myself the perfect writer.
I only want you to feel the expression of the
rhyme.
I do want you to listen and look closely while you
see your situation written within my lines.
I don’t consider myself the perfect writer. That is
out of God’s Realm, you see.
If I considered myself perfect at all, for he
would never have me.
I am not the perfect writer this is a
highlighted point I really want my
readers to know.

…Sometimes we need a word of
encouragement; one word from God can change
our lives. Sometimes we need to laugh,
“Laughter is like a medicine” smoothing the
pain; relief, I can make it now. Sometimes we
need just a little reminder, wisdom imparted, a
nudge that reminds us of who He is and
allowing Him to be all that He is in us.
Sometimes we need reminding; we are not
alone, God has not forgotten us, He said “I am
with you always…I will never leave or forsake
you.”
The beauty of Sistah’s Café is that it is
written to bring life to your world. The Word of
God is Life. We invite you to spend time each
