Mass Notification Strategy

Klaxon Signals mass notification warning systems provide a full productand service combination. Most projects take the form of 4 discrete stages:

Stage 1: Strategic Assessment

Initial enquires are assessed for mass notification suitability, with

the objective of ensuring that the aims & objectives of systemperformance are clearly defined.

Stage 2: Physical Location Study

The physical properties of the application site are considered,taking into account the size and location of the site, populationdensity, special factors and communication requirements, bothlocally and remotely.

Stage 3: Acoustic Analysis

On location a background acoustic survey is conducted andmajor sound path restrictions identified. A full diagnostics SoundPlan is developed, providing a detailed computer simulation to

facilitate system design.

Stage 4: Solution Design

Design scenarios are computer modeled and evaluated, resultingin choice of optimised solutions for maximum performance withminimal disruption and cost. Detailed procurement specificationsare produced, enabling the client to proceed with their preferredsolution.

flexible electronic siren systems for non-hazardous and hazardous environment operation.

Klaxon Signals provide site-specific

computer simulations of sound

propagation and ambient noise levels. This

process allows numerous design scenarios

to be considered, tested and assessed for

suitability.

The computer simulation is constructed byinputting the physical dimensions of the site

and modeling all elements that may effect

sound propagation, including outbuildings,

terrain, and other environmental factors. By

taking on-site background ambient noise

readings and including them in the model,

system designers can assess performance

based on both volume differentials and

message intelligibility.

Product solutions are then applied to

computer simulation to establish the

optimum balance between productplacement and performance.
