Studio Cambridge - An OverviewStudio Cambridge is the oldest English Language School in Cambridge, England
We are not part of a chain of schools; we are privately owned and managed
We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of International Association of Language Centres (IALC), English UK and Education UK
Our main school is located only 10 minutes by foot from Cambridge city centre and just 400 metres from the train station
Junior Camps
Junior camps include the following:
• At least 15 hours of English tuition per week• Accommodation (residential or homestay or both)• All meals• Activities• Excursions (except for Sir George which are optional and at
additional cost)• Airport transfers from/to Heathrow or Stansted on Sundays• Insurance
Sir George Camp Overview
• For students aged 14 - 17 years old• Course located at Studio Main School in Cambridge• 21 hours of English tuition per week• Afternoon activities each week• Homestay accommodation with a Cambridge family in a twin or
single room• Maximum capacity of 70 students at one time• Great location only ten minutes' walk from Cambridge city centre
and 400m from the train station
Sir George Course Centre
• Located at Studio Main School in Cambridge• Based in two large Victorian Villas near Cambridge Station• Host families within 30 minutes' travel (by bus, bike or foot)• Students eat breakfast and dinner with their host with lunch in
Café Studio• Learning centre in the main school, with library, DVDs and
computers for students to use• Sports facilities can be found ten minutes' walk from the school,
including a swimming pool,sports pitches and a gym
• Large garden with benches • Welfare, accommodation and
central staff offices in school
Sir George Accommodation• Single or twin homestay rooms• Homestays all within 25 minutes' travel of the school• Host provides morning and evening meals with the family during
the week and all meals at the weekend• Lunch provided at the school during the week• Shared living facilities including bathrooms• Free laundry facilities• Change of bed linen once per week• Students must return to their Homestay by 23:00 latest
Sir George Course Content
• 21 hours of English lessons per week• Course materials provided• Certificate and end of course report upon completion of course• 4 afternoon activities• Free time to spend with your host• Activities office and staff• Excellent welfare staff
