Noun can serve as a subject or an object in a sentence.

Singular and Plural nouns

SingularNouns can be singular or plural.

When we are talking about one person, animal, place, or thing, we use a singular noun.

Pluralization of nouns How to make plural from singular ? We are going to learn 8 different ways …

1. Add ‘S’ after nouns.( Regular nouns )2. Add ‘es’ after nouns.3. change ‘y’ to ‘i’ and add ‘es’.4. If a noun ends with “f”.5. If a noun ends with “o”.6. Irregular nouns.7. Same as the singular.8. Always plural.

How to pluralize nouns3.(ii) If the word ends with ‘y’

followed by a vowel letter then we add an “s” to make plural.
