GENERAL INFORMATION

MAPASON PROD S.R.L. Braov started

the activity in May 1995 having the main

activity field manufacturing of decorative

and industrial welded parts and the

production of stainless steel and metallicmachined parts.

From start up until now, the company

had a positive development by expanding the range of highest quality products,

which has led to increased domestic market share and penetrate foreign

markets. Products made by MAPASON PROD S.R.L. - Brasov demonstrate that

materials like stainless steel or brass can be decorative, practical and durable

products.

The quality of products made by MAPASON PROD S.R.L. Brasov is the

result of many years of experience in aeronautical industry both of the managers

and of many of the employees.

CNC LASER CUTTING MACHINE (BYSTRONIC BYSTAR 3015)

MAIN FEATURES:

- Maximum sheet size: 1500 x 3000 mm- Resonator power: 3.000 W

- Maximum cutting characteristics:- Aluminum up to 5 mm thickness- Stainless steel up to 10 mm thickness- Steel up to 15 mm thickness

- Precision: +/- 0.01 mm

Laser cutting advantages:- Higher speed cutting when comparing with other complex shapes items cutting technologies. A3000 W laser is able to cut for a 20 m/min maximum speed depending on the shape andthickness of the material.

- Most of the times, the cut items do not need any further processing.

- The cutting width is very fine (0,2 mm), thus complex parts can be made without minimuminternal radius limitation required by milling machines or other similar mechanical processing.

- Although laser cutting is a thermal processing, the material heated area is small and the mostpart of the heat is removed when cutting. Thus, the heat affected areas are small and the thermaldeformation is almost zero.

- This is a non contact processing, which means the material can only be fixed with a clamp orsimply positioned below the laser beam.

- The quality and the accuracy of the cut are excellent comparing to other cutting technique.

- Due to the CNC programming, lack of mechanical action on metal sheet and the fine width ofthe cut, the items are able to be arranged very close one to each other which reduces tominimum the scrap.

- Cheap and fast prototype/ short series items manufacturing.
