Along with a hard days work; there were fun times too! Judy and Yvonne got a huge laugh during a Team Building phase.

The food was awesome. Our compliments to the Hilton...they made our day spectacular! Kathryn, Paul, Norma, Mona would all agree!

There is something a bit crazy and

a whole lot of fun about the now

“Traditional Valentine Fiasco!”

For over a decade Valentine Sun-

day (the one just before the holi-

day) is a day when anything goes!

The snacks are red, pink or white

(and chocolate is always accepta-

ble)! The first part of the morning

there is a lot of shared love and

laughter and the biggest 15 minute

Valentine Fiasco you could ever

see! Hundreds of Valentines are

exchanged with old friends and

new friends too. Each gathers their

Valentines trophies in a container

that is provided (bags will work!)

The treasures may range from

Batman and Barbie to carefully

crafted designer looks to choco-

lates and traditional hearts. There

are a lot of laughs and big smiles,

not to mention the bonus memo-

ries you’ll get to take home.

For awhile it’s like you are a kid

again. Most of all, you will have

had some real fun on a day that

can be difficult for many single

adults. Sun., Feb 12 at 11:00

am it’s SAM’s Valentine Fiasco!

shows how life in Christ frees

you from these "normal" be-

haviors. Rather than live an

ordinary life, you can be ex-

traordinary by embracing the

wisdom and grace of the gos-

pel. Maybe that is weird, but

with God's help it can be

wonderful … because Nor-

Tired of trying to fit into to-

day's culture? The good news

is you don't have to! In

Weird: Because Normal Isn't

Working, Craig Groeschel

outlines what the world con-

siders normal--a life filled

with stress, strained relation-

ships, and money woes, and

mal isn’t working. Join Mark

works in a world that is just

not working for most of us!!!

Wednesdays

6:15 PM

Ministry Center at Fulton &

El Dorado: Mark 479-0119

Get Ready For the Sunday Valentine Fiasco Feb. 12th!

The Wednesday SAM SPECIAL Begins Feb.1

Beginning Again After the Loss of a Spouse

ginning Again is A Next Step in

the healing process.

BA is an outing, usually dinner

at a restaurant or a community

event. The gatherings of 12-25

include both men and women.

Each has known the loss of a

spouse… each has made the

choice to move forward and

find strength in the power of

new friendships. If you are

widowed, you are welcome.

Beginning Again's next social

outing will be on February

10, at Tsing Tao Restaurant,

2339 West Hammer Lane, at

6 pm. You’ll share dinner,

some good conversation,

have a few laughs and meet

friends who know your loss.

If you would like more infor-

mation on Beginning Again

contact the coordinator,

Norma Lagorio at 464-0475.

No one is ever prepared for the

loss of their life partner. Time

and prayer are the only real

sources to overcoming such a

devastation. Beginning Again

is not a support group, alt-

hough there is plenty of love

and support for anyone. It is

not a “self help” group, but

both men and women will tell

you … the friendships are the

help. You might say that Be-Rebecca and Kathy appreciate

the friends of Beginning Again
