⢠DDRC Meetings are being conducted regularly⢠Cleared the major lifeline roads of the district
⢠In every VDC, individual Secretaries are deployed⢠Established strong coordination between Govt. Offices: utilized
Govt. vehicles, staffs, resources in the most coordinated way⢠Identified the vulnerable settlements and also the possible sites for
relocation (in the preliminary report, about 65 settlements from 45VDSs are identified as unsafe), (Settlements are from 20-150households)

Methodology of Operation⢠Clusters are jointly lead by Govt. Officials and from
the Partner Org.⢠Clusters are having regular meetings⢠Every week we are having Cluster Coordination
meetings⢠UN-OCHA is helping on coordination⢠Member Secretary of DDRC is bridging (DDRC &
Clusters)
⢠There are more than 65 Dev. Partners in this Phase⢠With the suggestion from UN System, we adopted Cluster
Model of cooperation and following Clusters are formulated.
⢠IOM is helping removing debris in Govt. Offices in DHQ
⢠UNDP is piloting the same in three VDCs (Cash for work model)
⢠WFP is distributing IInd Cycle of food stuffs throughout the district (partneringin 14 VDCs with Plan Int. and Japanese Aid)
⢠About 50 partners are helping in construction of TLCs in the Schools
⢠Partners in the Similar number are working with DHO to provide the healthfacilities
⢠Almost everyone in about 35 VDCs are being supported for CGI Sheets and temp.shelters
⢠To upgrade livelihood and for income generation, microenterprises developmentprograms, trainings are being conducted
⢠Alternate Energy tools are also largely distributed
⢠Pre-fabricated Office Spaces is being build in 5 agencies
Victim ID Card Distribution and cash transferâ˘Smoothly going on in 50 VDCs and 2 Municipalitiesâ˘Having some problems due to fake claimsâ˘Will be completed soon
School Sectorâ˘21 Schools are yet to open (out of 556)â˘32000 students yet to get back to their school (out of 76000)
DDRC Prioritized the support sectorâ˘Children who lost their guardian are at the topâ˘Families who lost their member are at IIndâ˘Family having disables due to the quake are at thirdâ˘Other DAG Community and households could be prioritized by the partnerbased on their own policies
