scenery, rich history, heritage and way of life that is enjoyed today. Your Guide will keep
you informed and entertained as you journey around Norfolk taking in some of the
impressive sights it has to offer.
Visit historic Kingston and see the most popular beach on Norfolk, Emily Bay, plus the
famous convict buildings. Marvel at the Melanesian Chapel with its beautiful stained-
glass windows, enjoy the views from Cascade and Anson Bay and finish the tour with
morning tea ORN DA CLIFF.
We’ll even have time to call in at the markets for some local arts and crafts and
scrumptious goodies to buy. Rest this afternoon or explore before our Culinary Journey
at Bounty Lodge this evening. You’ll love watching Ernie unearth our dinner from the
coals and banana leaves – absolutely scrumptious. (B) (D)
Day Three. Monday 2nd March.
After brekky in our Hotel, we’ll enjoy our Indulgence Tour, a very scenic tour of all the
most photogenic spots on the island – so don’t forget your camera.

with plenty to go around. This 3-course meal will take you to Island homes, each course
at a different venue. This is not just any 3-course meal though. You are going to get to
indulge in some of Norfolk’s traditional and different local dishes, and at the same time
be welcomed into the homes of your friendly hosts for a touch of true Island living and
hospitality. (Duration 3.5 hours) (B) (D)

evening will be delivered to your rooms during the day so you can prepare for an epic
night of laughter, games and convict mayhem. After tonight you will know why this is
the most popular feature dinner on the Island. A fun night out for all ages! Dress as a
convict & join with the commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing &
dancing. Great food! Great fun! (Duration: 3.5 hours) (B) (D)
Day Five. Wednesday 4th March.
Get your walking shoes on for an early pick up (7am) this morning by Pinetree Tours for
the Breakfast Bushwalk. See some of Norfolk Island’s lush green rain forests and
spectacular coastline with a choice of an easy stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve,
or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5 km walk from Mt Bates to Captain Cook
Monument. If you’re lucky you may spot one of Norfolk’s endangered and very rare
Green Parrots. After building up an appetite on one of these fantastic walks you will all
be transferred to scenic Anson Bay for a delicious BBQ Breakfast. (Note: Anyone not
wanting to walk can be transferred direct to Anson Bay for the BBQ Breakfast. After
breakfast everyone will be taken back to the hotel at around 9:30am.)
Free time to relax, explore or shop. Maybe pop into town and have a look at the exciting
shopping that Norfolk has to offer. The shopping on Norfolk Island is amazing and you
will find amazing prices on quality and name brand items imported from around the
world. The shopping is so good in fact, that many visitors come just to shop, for instance,
Lego is cheaper on Norfolk than in Denmark, and quality German Knives are often
advertised at half mainland prices.
OR you could enjoy the Glass Bottom Boat Tour in Emily Bay. (own expense)
Discover life under the water with a cruise through the calm waters within the reef. See
exotic colourful fish in one of the world's most southern coral reefs. Large glass viewing
area.
Then we’re in for a real treat. At 1.30pm we’ll be picked up for a visit to the Hilli Goat,
where food is made and grown with love. You’ll love their stunning cliff top property at
Anson Bay. Come and meet the Cheeky Goats and wander through the Edible Gardens
whilst we discover the Milking and Cheese making process and then sit down to a
delicious Hilli Goat style Platter of freshly made Goats Cheese and edible delights that
have been freshly picked from their back yard and you've experienced the Paddock to
Plate way of life or "The Norfolk Whey'.
Straight after dinner at our Hotel, Pinetree Tours will pick us up to enjoy the
Wonderland By Night Tour. The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines &
bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the 'moon buggy') a
winding pathway with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites his
poems and lights up the dioramas. Then afterward enjoy a light supper. (B) (D)
Day Six Thursday 5th March
Free time this morning to relax, explore or shop. Then, at 11 a.m., we’ll visit one of
Norfolk Island’s favourite attractions, The Cyclorama. Produced by local artists over a
period of 15 months, The Cyclorama presents Norfolk Island’s history in a unique and
fascinating way. Step into another time and place as you become a part of this
magnificent artwork. After the Cyclorama, you may like to pop into Guava Gallery and
view some artwork by talented local artists. Lunch is included today at the beautiful
Hillis Restaurant.
This evening’s events will begin with Pinetree Tours meeting you at your hotel at 4.45pm

sun setting out in the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade
bread and fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts and tea/coffee. And dancing with
the locals! (Duration 2 hours)
Following our dinner at THE FISH FRY, Pinetree Tours will drop us back to the Hotel
briefly and then, at 7.15pm, transfer us back to the convict era with the sensational Sound
and Light Show. As the use of real-life sounds and theatrical lighting break the still starry
night, costumed actors will merge with the ruins to bring real convict stories to life,
mesmerising you with tales of death, misery and the horror of these decades. Re-
enactments of whippings with the Cat-o-Nine tails and the story of Bloody Bridge among
the tales to be told. We stay on the bus for the whole tour – no walking. Very clever.
