clients throughout the UK. Our show centres

and in house team of trained experts will offer

advice, information and recommendations to

help choose the right swimspa for you. Whether

it’s for personal home use, holiday rental or full

4. Water Quality - All Catalina™ swimspas are

fitted with European specification 2 speed filter

pumps that provide 100% active filtration with

Ozone purification. This is a proven, highly efficient

and environmentally friendly method as it reduces

the number of pumps needed to achieve water

filtration and performance as well as providing a

superior water quality. The filter/boost pump is

2.5hp (1.87kW) which runs on only 1.8 Amps on low

speed. It is in effect 2 pumps in one - this has several

advantages, which includes a reduced electrical

loading and increased efficiency. The Catalina™

filtration system gives 100% filtration in low speed -

meaning that 100% of the circulating water is passed

through the filters. Depending on the volume of the

swimspa the water is filtered on average every 20

minutes. This gives the water an exceptional polish

and sparkling clarity.

5. Low Running Costs - At Catalina Spas™ Ltd we

only use the best insulation available that conforms

to the strict California Energy Commission Standards.

The California Energy Commission (CEC) was

established in 1975 to reduce energy consumption

and save on energy bills. It sets strict standards to

ensure all CEC compliant products are energy

efficient. As part of Catalina’s commitment to ensure

our products have low running costs all of our

Swimspas meet these high standards. The Catalina™

insulating process starts with the application of high

density foam that is spray applied to the reverse of

the spa shell and under the contoured top lip and

the plumbing. The foam has a closed cell content of

90% and an insulation K factor of 0.16. This process

not only gives the very best insulation values it also

adds additional strength to the shell and provides

a strong support for pipework. All our swimspas

are supplied with a deluxe UL listed safety/ insulation

cover.

you an extensive range of Swimspa Trainers,

Dual temperature Swimspa and fitness pools

in many sizes from 3.8M to 6.4M and varying

depths from 1M to 1.6M, there is no need to

department of CatalinaTM is where we design

and manufacture swimspas for bespoke

Atlantic PoolThe Atlantic is unique in that it can be supplied as a pool only

Swimming is generally regarded as a great way

to help you improve your heart rate and blood

flow and can help to maintain a healthy weight.

It also helps build muscle and has fat burning

benefits. Swimming provides many additional

benefits that other forms of exercise do not.

Be Active - A 30-minute session of moderate

to vigorous-intensity aerobic activity in your

swimspa or pool on one or more days a week

will count towards your recommended weekly

The Catalina Mardi Gras is the original space saving swim trainer and party Spa. It is an ideal entry level, affordable, garden entertainment centre and aqua gym. It features the Catalina Pro Swim training System which gives you a low-impact, full-body workout that builds muscle, increases endurance and burns calories. This swim trainer provides the same workout as swimming in a regular pool without the need to repeatedly turn! The Mardi Gras is perfect for large groups or parties, with LED underwater lighting and seating for 11 people with 28 relaxing hydrotherapy jets. The Carnival is a 230mm deeper version of the Mardi Gras. The Carnival includes as standard the Catalina Pro Swim training system and is available in 3 different performance power options, the Classic, the Classic XP and the Aquadynamic. Medley

Made in

The Medley is aimed more towards the keen swimmer than the Mardi Gras and Carnival. The length has been increased and the seats in the swim lane removed to widen the swimming area and give more of a traditional pool feel. The spa end has seating for 2 extra people giving a total of 5 seats with massaging hydrotherapy jets. Like the Carnival, the Medley comes with LED illuminated controls and underwater lights, exercise equipment for the ultimate workout and an option of 3 different performance power settings, all of which are available above or in ground.

FreestyleThe Freestyle has a large open swim lane that offers an ideal swimming and exercise space. The spa end has seating for 3 which includes 2 deluxe, full body, deep contoured multi jet therapy loungers. It also includes a stand up massage station which together with the seating gives the Freestyle a total of 66 hydrotherapy jets. A heated air blower system makes the jets on a Freestyle swimspa feel more powerful and therapeutic than ever. The Freestyle is available with 2 different performance power settings, the Classic XP and the Aquadynamic, it is also available in above or in ground versions.

The Sprint is a longer version of the Medley. With an extra 600mm in the swim lane and an extra 300 litres water capacity it is the largest of our standard swimspas. Like the Medley it is available in 3 different performance power settings and is available either in ground or above ground. It comes as standard with our Catalina exercise equipment, underwater lights and LED illuminated controls.

Dual TemperatureRelay

The Relay is our unique dual temp swimspa with a ‘see through’ divider. The spa and swimming sections are separated meaning you can have 2 different temperatures set, simultaneously in the same swimspa, a warm relaxing spa end with a cooler more practical swimming end. The spa end has seating for 5 and is separated from the swimming end by a transparent dividing wall. The Relay comes as standard with our Catalina exercise equipment, 8 LED crystal fountains and 2 LED cascade waterfalls, an LED underwater lighting system as well as LED jets and controls. The Relay is available in both above and in ground styles.

MarathonThe Marathon has all the great features of the Relay and more. The spa end still seats 5 but this time the transparent dividing wall has been replaced on the pool side by 3 extra seats ideal for those warm summer days when you just want to cool down and relax. The total of 8 seats plus 1 stand up massage station makes the Marathon a popular and accommodating dual temperature swimspa. It also features an auxiliary control panel so that you can independently control both ends of the spa at the same time. The Marathon is also available as an in ground swimspa.

The Amazon is an extended version of the Orinoco. More than a metre longer and with an extra 2500 litres water capacity you can really feel the extra space in an Amazon fitness pool. As with the Orinoco the Amazon is supplied with exercise/ rowing kit. It is available in 3 different performance power settings and as an above or in ground model. Unique to the Amazon Pool is the depth of 1.6 metres. If it’s deep you’re looking for then look no further than the Amazon.

The Atlantic is a massive 21 feet long (6.35M) and has 3 different internal depths of 1.2, 1.35 and 1.5M. Unlike many other swimspas or pools the Atlantic is made using a two pack gelcoat fibre reinforced resin system. This makes it an ideal alternative to a regular swimming pool. The Atlantic Pool is available as a regular pool with no swim jets or with one of our 3 different performance power settings making this our largest swim trainer fitness pool. It is also available as an in ground version.

Exercise Equipment This multipurpose exercise system turns the

Catalina Swimspa into a home gym and offers

the bather a wide variety of upper body and

swimming work outs. It includes;

• A swimming belt that allows a swimmer to

resistance swim at a pace they feel

comfortable with.

• A jogging belt that is worn by the bather to

keep them central and to aid jogging against

the flow of water

• Curls - Bicep workout regime that allows

the bather to exercise the upper arm in the

comforting and soothing surroundings of

warm water. By adjusting the position the

bather can tailor the intensity to their own

strength abilities.

• Rowing exercise – Each of the Swimspa

models has a rowing seat position with foot

massage feature. The rowing attachment

connects to this seat position and allows

the bather to do upper body exercise with

adjustable resistance using both push and

pull technique

LED Topside Controls LED lights are installed into the air

controllers, diverters and waterfall controls.

This subtle lighting looks stunning at night

and has multiple colour choice sequences.

LED Cascade Overflow Waterfall This stunning feature consists of 2 x 460mm

cascade waterfalls located at the river jet

end. They feature LED lighting to make a

stunning night time display.

LED Crystal Fountains This attractive water feature produces a

wonderful water fountain display and sets

a perfect scene for night time bathing or

garden parties. With LED lights

fitted the fountain columns of

water change colour.

LED Jets Jets are fitted with LED back lighting and

as with all of the LED light upgrades there

is a multiple colour choice and sequence

selection. This adds to the night time bathing

experience.

Pro- Swim System This incredible swimming and coaching

aid has several unique features to aid all

swimming abilities from the learner swimmer

to the serious aquatic athlete.

• For the learner or less confident swimmer -

Allows the swimmer to maintain a high body

position while working against resistance

at maximum effort. The Pro-Swim forces

efficiency while increasing strength

and confidence.

• For the confident swimmer - Ideal for

freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke.

For breaststroke the Pro - Swim helps adjust

and correct pull and kick separately as well as

the entire stroke. Again, ideal for backstroke

because of the steady head position.

• For the endurance swimmer, professional

or swimming trainer - It allows swimming

for sustained long time periods without the

need to keep turning! It is perfect to work on

stroke correction, such as still head position

and shoulder roll. Enables a coach to make

stroke corrections while the swimmer is

stationary. Speed change is easy to

moderate, concentrating on finishing strokes

and stretching out on hand entry.

In-GroundAll standard models can be installed either partially or full in-ground but a service pit must be constructed the full depth of the model to allow access to the equipment.

Many of models are available as ‘In-Ground’ these are purpose made with the bottom 610mm of the cabinet removed and replaced

with durable polyethylene and the equipment located higher in the cabinet. Each In-Ground model is between 300mm-610mm longer than its standard counterpart.

LED Speaker

LPHW Heat Exchanger To enable the use of an external heat source

we will pre install a LPHW heat exchanger

made of hi-grade stainless steel with

titanium tubes.

Valved Bypass All Catalina Swimspas are manufactured

with a pre plumbed valved bypass to

enable the installation of a heat pump or

any auxiliary heat source.

Change Over Switch The switch system allows the client to

easily switch their Swimspa from the inbuilt

heater to an auxiliary heat source.

Gas or Oil Heating We offer a range of Oil or Gas (natural or

propane) boilers.

Light Commercial Upgrade An increasing amount of Catalina models

are being installed in clinics, hospitals,

rehabilitation units and special therapy

centres that require an upgraded filtration

system or automatic chemical control.

Wi-Fi Remote App This App allows the client to control the

Swimspas from their Apple® or Android™

device anywhere that you can connect to your

local Wi-Fi network, or anywhere there is an

internet connection to your smart device via

3G or 4G. The App lets you start the tub and

change settings from your smartphone or

tablet. On dual temperature models it can only

be fitted to the pool or spa.

Bluetooth Audio with Powered Subwoofer This Catalina music upgrade allows the client

to wirelessly stream music from their portable

music device, phone or tablet, in fact anything

that has Bluetooth capability. The subwoofer

gives incredible depth to any music being

played. The speaker picks up the low pitch

audio frequency sound to give that extra bass.

It not only provides an improved sound at

low volume it will give extra rhythm for that

‘occasional’ party!
