Prelude People love to go jogging, especially women Women throughout history have been assaulted by males Women joggers are perfect prey for predators Rapists and murderers often stalk joggers because of the

“Runners’ High” they get from jogging making them sometimes unaware of their surroundings

Solution!The woman can: Carry a gun Carry pepper spray Use martial arts Carry a taser

These work … right?

Looks good… but weapons can be taken away

So weapons don’t provide a solution

Working toward a solution:Can it be integrated with the exercise suit ? Gun – Too dangerous, stray bullets can harm

others. Pepper Spray – Requires pressurized

container and multiple output zones. Jogger can even be incapacitated by over spray

Martial Arts – takes years to learn and isn’t an option for busy mothers or single parents.

Taser – Can be broken down into components and even be woven into the suit.

Coming up with integrated suitResolution Operators: Separate between the whole and its parts

(Break down taser) Alternative bi-system (power, grid, trigger) Concentrate energy (shock the monkey) Make a ‘road’ (Make a path for energy) Apply physical effects (no aim required) Divide into mobile parts (power, arming)

The Idea Most joggers jog in some type of suit By making a suit with an automatic built in

defense mechanism, distractions don’t matter, and weapons cannot be taken away.

The Analysis shows promise
