10-Inch StackerCut 6 flowers from blue petal. Add ¼” seam allowance if

Cream StripeCut 4 strips 1½” x WOF for Border 1.

Cream ShadeCut 2 strips 8” x WOF. Cut the strips into 6 squares 8” x 8”.Cut 2 strips 3½” x WOF. Cut the strips into 24 rectangles

2½” x 3½”.Cut 3 strips 1½” x WOF. Cut the strips into 72 squares 1½” x 1½”.

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics and blocks.

Flower BlockUse your favorite method of applique. Refer to quilt photo for fabric placement. Applique the pieces on a cream shade 8” x 8” square. When finished with the applique, square up the block to 7½” x 7½”. Make 6 Flower Blocks.

Chain BlockThese instructions are to make 1 block. Refer to the Chain Block diagram for piece placement as each block is a different combination of fabrics. Sew 5 print 1½” squares (3 of one print and 2 of a second print) and 4 cream shade 1½” squares together to create a Nine-Patch Unit.

Sew a cream shade 2½” x 3½” rectangle to each side of the Nine-Patch Unit to create the Center Unit.

Sew 2 print 1½” squares and 2 cream shade 1½” squares together to create a Four-Patch. Repeat to make a second Four-Patch from the same print. Repeat with a different print to create 2 more Four-Patches. There should be 4 Four-Patches (2 from each print).

Sew a Four-Patch to each side of a cream shade 2½” x 3½” rectangle to create Unit A. Repeat to create 2 Unit As.

Sew a Unit A to the top and bottom of the Center Unit to create the Chain Block. Repeat to create 6 Chain Blocks.

Quilt Center AssemblySee quilt photo for Flower Block and Chain Block placement. Lay out the blocks in 4 rows of 3 blocks. Sew the rows together to complete the quilt center.

Borders Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 28½”. Top and bottom borders should be 23½”.

Border 2Side borders should be 30½”. Top and bottom borders should be 31½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Penny Rose fabric from the Forget Me Not Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
