EXAMPLES:

• TO TALK ABOUT PERMANENT SITUATIONS OR STATES.

EXAMPLES:

EXAMPLES:

Spelling rules

Most verbs take -s in the third person singular. Examples:

I swim - he swimsI jump - she jumps I clean - he cleans

Verbs ending in -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -z,or -o take -es . Examples:

I kiss - she kissesI brush - he brushes I catch - he catchesI do - he does I fix – he fixesbuzz - buzzes

erase the y and add -ies .Examples:
