25 years ago Mercury Marine, member of the Brunswick Corporation
USA, a world leader, chose us to be the sole distributor of their
Mariner Outboard Motors. Perhaps the beginning of a new chapter for
India's marine industry. Over the years our partnership with Mercury
Marine has proved invaluable for both the industry and us. This
relationship has helped us move into a preeminent position and has
given us the wherewithal to become a One Stop for all the needs of the
marine industry. Our experience, capabilities and partnerships with
some of the world’s leading manufacturers ensure the industry gets
integrated solutions customized for every boating need.
Our celebration of 25 years (1986-2011) with Mercury Marine is just not
about a glorious past, but also a harbinger of a brighter future. A vast
coastline and a rapidly evolving industry make this relationship unique.

Evolving with foresightOur story began with the fishing industry in 1968 where
our EU certified processing and export unit was
functioning and had an existing relationship with
the fishing communities along the coast line of
Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Drawing synergy in 1986,
we introduced the then highly economical
kerosene operated OBMs – which were ideal for
catamarans and small fishing boats.
With the sale of OBMs also came in the priority for service. Our service
network is there in all the Indian maritime states and our footprint
covers the entire Indian coastline.
Along the way our commitment and service brought us several recognitions – in
1990 we were given the 'Outstanding service Performance' Award by Marine Power
International, USA. With a decade or more in the fishing industry, our market
knowledge and technical experience made us a quality provider in the defence
segment. Today Esmario’s sophisticated marine engines and propulsion systems
meet the defence and paramilitary requirements of high speed and reliability for
the protection of the Indian coastline. After extensive tests and trials, our products
have been accepted by the defence establishments.
Looking further, our partnership with Mercury Marine and several such large
players from across the world positions us to be a unique provider of integrated
solutions for the marine industry. Today Esmario Marine is known for its
motors, engines, boats, yachts, hovercrafts and more. Our credentials, experience

We have a trained work force of more than 75 service engineers and technicians.
Our state-of-the-art workshop facilities are equipped with Dyno testers and other
high-end equipments. We have workshops and repair service facilities in all
maritime states thus ensuring unrivaled service response times. Plus, wherever
needed, we provide 24x7 back up teams for mission-critical service requirements.
