Week 3Colours
We’re back in Silver Bend for Week 3! It’s Thai’s and Amanda’s turn in the rotation. They’re expect their first born this rotation. The first pregnancy of three required by OWBC rules. Their goal for this week is
earning bronze robotic badges.
The hour was late, Thai yawned and exited his carpool. He was tired but thrilled, he
had earned himself a promotion.
Daylight found him and Amanda in the kitchen.
“A promotion!” Amanda exclaimed kissing him soundly. “We’ll be able to open my
business soon.”“After the baby is born.” Thai promised.
“Marisa, I haven’t seen you in awhile.” Thai exclaimed, he had left Amanda at home to rest.
“You know I’ve been busy, shopping and stuff.”“You should come by sometime and have dinner with
us.”“I’ll think about it.”
Marisa left after giving Colouriffic a star. Thai goofed around on the DJ booth for a
few hours before closing up shop.
Amanda was in labor when he returned.“One down, two to go!” He said helpfully.
“Not helpful.” Amanda retorted.
Bran Colours was born a few minutes later. He was a miniature of his father with black
hair and brown eyes.
A small renovation of the nursery was in order.
“I haven’t forgotten that comment.” Amanda teased.
“Wanna get started on number 2?”“Any reason to wait?”
“Not that I can think of.”
Amanda couldn’t sleep. She got up to tend to the tomatoes. They weren’t as glaringly healthy as Pony’s produce. But Pony had a
green house. Despite their paleness Amanda harvested roughly thirty of them.
Thai planted three more plastic flamingos in the front yard.
Thai was interrupted by a demanding yip. A brown dog wagged it’s tail at him.
“Hi Tiffany.” Thai knelt down and stroked her head. They played before she trotted off into the night. Thai mused, maybe when she came back they would adopt
her.
Amanda called Pony and got permission to open a second business. It was her dream to be a business tycoon. But
they would need to have a level ten business first. Colouriffic was nice, but Amanda wanted her own. She
called her lot iRobot, silly, but it was hers.
Thai had spent a good couple hours with Tiffany. Exhaustion threaten to
overwhelm him. He had to go to work. So he jumped into the energizer, what would
they do without one.
He headed to iRobot. Amanda stayed back with tend Bran. So Thai went to check out
the lot.
He managed to build a tiny building before running out of funds. He couldn’t wait for
Amanda to see it.
He headed to Colouriffic to open it up for a few hours.
Thai played with the DJ booth, he was getting better at it. And there was nothing
better to do with most of his customers playing at the poker table.
He also tended the bar, he closed up when the customers thinned out.
Bran fell asleep, Amanda snuck in some time to work on her robotics badge.
Hans got subjected to a bath after rolling in puddles.
Amanda cleaned the bathroom with a small interruption from her new baby.
Bran’s birthday quickly approached. Infancy just flies by.
Bran grew up in an explosion of confetti. While he had Thai’s skin tone and eyes, his
face favored his mother.
Thai fed his son smart milk and whisked him to the potty chair. Never too early to
start potty training.
Thai spent the night watching Bran play. With plenty of snuggles and tickles.
Thai settled Bran to bed and then crawled into his own. He snuggled close to his
wife. This may be the last night they got to snuggle together before they had two
young children.
Hans whimper pathetically at Bran, he wagged his tail slightly, the picture of a
neglect hound.Bran giggled, “Com’ere!” the toddler
waved his arms.
Bran wrapped his arms around Hans’ soft neck.
“Puppy!” Bran cooed in delight.
Thai went into work. This time tending the bar. The customers seemed to prefer
that to the DJ booth.
Amin Sims liked the service enough to grant Colouriffic rank 5. Thai used the point for the $50,000 bonus. Just what
they need to work on iRobot.
Thai closed up Colouriffic and headed across the street. He enlarged the original
building.
He ran out of funds before finishing the inside. Which
was fine, he planned for him and Amanda to stock the other
half with robots.
Back home Amanda was unaware of Thai’s modifications to iRobot. She was taking a
nap on the couch.
Amanda woke herself up to get a bite to eat. Her baby woke up too.
The garden struggled in the snow. Thai swore in frustration. It was their only
source of food. They would have to get a greenhouse set up.
Thai finished tending the garden and headed inside. He hadn't made much progress
towards his gold robotics badge. He finally earned his bronze robotics badge.
“PAPAAAAAA!”
“Hi there Bran.” Thai said lifting the toddler out of his crib. “Let’s be quiet so Mother
can get her sleep.”“Papa.” Bran burbled.
Thai fed his son a bottle and sat down on the floor with him.
“Alright, it’s time you learned to talk.” He said firmly.
Bran babbled reaching for crumbs underneath the cabinets.
After Bran tired out, Thai went outside and worked on a greenhouse. They ran
out of funds before closing in the entirety.
The little tyke was eating them out of house and home.
Thai left enough funds so Amanda could work on her bronze badge.
Tiffany came around again. Thai waved the carpool off and bent down to greet the shy
dog.
“Hey girl, want to stay here with us?” Thai asked.
“Rouf!” Tiffany barked and wagged her tail. They had a new family!
Amanda called her inside and slipped a brand new collar over her head. No
runaway dogs in Silver Bend.
“Thai stop it!” Amanda laughed, Thai caught her in the foyer with a tickle.
“Just say Uncle!” Thai grinned.
Thai left his wife to work at her store.“This place is great Thai, I’ve been needing a
new gaming computer.”“These are perfect for you then, they have the latest video card, no more lag on the
sims 3.”
“I’ll take two.” Allyn grinned giving iRobot it’s first rank.
While Thai’s selling skills were excellent, his register skills needed some work. The
drawer slammed into his waist.
Amin and Goopy quickly gave iRobot rank 2 and 3. Thai cashed in the perks before closing up. They’ll have plenty of money
for taxes and Reno Day.
“Thai!!!!!” Amanda was calling when he arrived home. She had gone into labor in
the snow.
Olaf and Odin were born. Amanda named them in honor of being born in the snow. They were both little miniatures of their
father. Brown eyes and dark hair.
Six more flamingos joined the flock in the front yard.
Amanda handed the twins off to Thai and sat down with Bran, who was fussy.
“Alright Baby, the itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.” Amanda teased gently.
“Down, down came the wain and WASHED the spider out!” Bran finished belting out the words.
Bran lost interest and wandered off. Amanda made her escape. She had been stuck in the house forever. It was time to
let Thai watch children and get some fresh air.
She wandered over to iRobot. She loved what Thai with the place. Customers
flooded in snatching up computers right and left.
Christy Stratton gave Amanda rank 4. Amanda cashed in and headed home,
feeling refreshed.
She came home to Tiffany rolling in puddles while Thai wrangled three young
children. Tiffany was a great dog, but definitely need some behavior
modification.
Bran took outrageous advantage of his parents decreased attention on him. Dog
food was absolutely delicious.
Amanda enjoyed her excursion, but she was glad to be home with the kids.
Thai managed to snag himself another promotion. He was making steady
progress on his LTW.
“Not again Thai!” Amanda laughed.Despite three kids and businesses and
work Thai and Amanda still snuck in time for each other.
Ben tip toed across the lawn. This lawn gnome was perfect for his collection.
Bran’s birthday rolled around. It would be nice to have one of diapers.
“Look how big my hands are!” Bran shouted clapping.
Amanda smiled, he was definitely starting to favor her.
Bran retrieved their gnome from Ben’s house.
“Mean jerk.” he grumbled.
Thai stayed up late working on robots trying to build enough inventory for the
store.
Saturday morning Amanda scrambled to tend the garden. Her and Thai were going
to squeeze one last session at iRobot before they started renovations.
They hired a nanny to take care of the kids. Just this once.
Thai ran the register while Amanda sold computer after computer.
It wasn’t long before Sandy gave them rank 5!
Now that they had the needed $50,000 for their major renovation plans. They could restock and head home. Amanda
earned her bronze restocking badge.
Thai made the twins comfortable in the nursery. Amanda took Bran outside to
keep him out of the way for the renovations.
The original layout of the house was great for a small family. But not a lot of room for
three growing boys.
The master bedroom space was enlarged and turned into two bedrooms and
another bathroom. The dining room was also enlarged and the robot station was moved to a small craft room. Thai and
Amanda added an upstairs with two more bedrooms and baths. As well as the
master bedroom.
Bran requested a chess table. Which his parents granted.
Hans was starting to look a little grey around the muzzled.
The old boy and Tiffany got along great. Hans’ early socialization with Bane made
Tiffany’s transition easier.
Amanda decided to breed the two. She loved the idea of puppies.
The renovations were done just in time for Odin’s and Olaf’s birthday.
Olaf looked a lot like his big brother. While Odin favored his father more though favored Bran’s personality.
“I feel like I’ve been here before.” Thai sighed, waiting for Odin to do his business.
“DADDDYYYY!!!!!” Even upstairs Olaf could be heard screaming at the top of his lungs.
“He’s calling you.” Amanda murmured sleepily. She rolled over into Thai’s warm spot.
“Tomorrow is your turn.” Thai grumbled.
“Today you’re getting potty trained.” Thai promised the gurgling toddler.
“Hey, Ambi, you guys want to come over today? Bran would love to meet the girls and Jonah.”
“Sure Amanda, Pony and I will bring them over, mind if we bring the dogs along.”
“As if saying no would stop Pony.”“Ha, see you guys in a bit.”
It only took a few minutes for Pony and Ambi to round up their brood and cross
the street.
Bran made a beeline for Jonah with a little surprise behind his back.
“GOTCHA!” Bran shouted in delight.“AWW, I’ll get you back!” Jonah said
shaking the water out of his eyes.
It didn’t take long for Heather and Delilah to join the water balloon fight in the
backyard.
“Aww, who left you all by yourself?” Ambi mused pocketing the gnome.
Courage gently sniffed Hans. The dogs were mingling and playing together as well
as the kids.
“If Tiffany has a girl puppy we can breed her to Courage!” Bran exclaimed.
“That would be awesome, and we’ll each get a puppy!” Jonah agreed.
Six came around too soon. Delilah and Jonah deep in a pillow fight.
“Come on kiddos time to go!” Pony called from the living room, “We’ve been in
Thai’s hair enough.”
Thai was fixing supper when Odin distracted him. The oven burst into
spaghetti scented flames!
Thai battled the spreading blaze as Hans barked wildly.
“Boolprop, this sucks.” Thai sighed as the clock turned over to midnight.

Moving right along in Silver Bend. I missed getting this finished last night. I had to get my car towed and spent half my play day waiting on the tow truck and stuff at the
dealership. Oh well I’m done now. I thought Odin and Bran were going to be clones, they have the same personality, but they have different faces. Whew,
dodged that bullet, I keep forgetting to roll the dice. Keika’s up next in Silver Bend!
