Siltheus and the Search for the Diamond Pick AxeBy Jack Once upon a time, Siltheus and Willdus met in a palace. Willdus set Siltheus a challenge. Willdus told him that if he could cross the River Styx in the underworld, he would find an unbreakable pick axe. BUT he warned him that if he was dragged down to the Underworld, he would never be seen again!A couple of hours later, Siltheus set off. He came to a desert that stretched out in front of him covered with sharp and dangerous cactuses. It was scorching and Siltheus was desperate for water. He trekked through until he saw a river. He charged towards it and stopped right at the edge just before he tumbled in. It was lucky that he did as the river was full of rotten scorpion corpses which would have killed him instantly. He used nearby sticks to create a bridge. He crossed safely.Next, he came to a dark, bloody tower. There was a gigantic dragon who had fangs that could rip armour. Suddenly, the dragon woke up! Siltheus drew his knife and stabbed the dragon right in the head. Its body melted in to boiling hot lava. Siltheus saw a small hole that had a bright glow coming from it. He reached inside and felt the precious diamond pick axe.The lava caved in. He made a hole with this pick axe and jumped out very quickly. Willdus was waiting for him. Siltheus gave Willdus the diamond pick axe. As a reward, Willdus gave him a 5 headed bull.
