Pre-sized and factory-assembled, the Silent Duct™
provides everything you need for an easy installation– all you provide is the plenum and return ducting.
The small dimensions of the air handler allowceiling mounting or mounting above a waterheater.
Silent Duct™ also works easily with conven-tional cooling coils and equipment.
The complete system comes equipped with airhandler and compact duct components such asgrilles, boots, flexible ducting and duct connec-tors.
Silent Duct™ is pre-sized so all you have to do isselect the model that is right for your applica-tion. There are six Silent Duct™ systems, rang-ing in size from 18,000 Btu/h to 94,000 Btu/h.Extra branches may be purchased separately asrequired, but standard models come with six to21 branches, depending on the system.
Silent Duct’s innovativethree-inch diameter flex-ible ducting gives you allof the benefits of conven-tional high velocity sys-tems, but with significantadvantages.
While as easy to install astwo-inch duct, Silent
Duct™ requires fewer vent terminals thantraditional high velocity systems. Recom-mended vent placement is high on the interiorwalls of a house, to provide maximum home-owner comfort.
The larger diameter also leads to less staticpressure. That means the system is quieter thanconventional systems and uses less fan energy.
