Silas has developed two primary technologies; his patented “Shattered Glass” and “Ice Glass” However, there are many proven applications and potential products that spin off from these two primary technologies. Another technology, yet to be explored is coating any substrate material with glass at room temperature. 1) SHATTERED GLASS: a) Flat Shattered Glass: Our patented process is the result of a laminate construction process that produces sheets of stunning “shattered” glass suitable for a variety of uses including countertop applications in kitchens and bathrooms. b) Cold Bent Shattered Glass: Going one step further in the laminating and shattering process we now mold and bend the glass into almost any shape without the use of heat. Many applications include table and vanity bases. Please find following photographs that show these technologies in use under their proper category. 2) ICE GLASS: We use a special resin compound to add a “frozen” look to new or existing panes of glass. Our Ice Glass texture can turn a kitchen or bathroom glass backsplash, room divider or side light window into a unique look that can complement existing design or provide an eye-catching feature. Different imagery and color may be added.
