Requirements:

The client required waterproofing the internal wet areas including bathrooms and laundry’s throughout the house.

There was also hard wood flooring being installed in a seperate part of the house that needed to be fully bonded to the substrate, and be able to stand the test of being layed in a family home.

Solution:

The wet areas of laundry, bathroom and toilet was waterproofed using Sikatite PUD plus, perimeter and corner fabric reinforced, and caulked in Sikaflex. The result is a perfectly sound subsurface to best adhere the travertine natural stone tiles using Sika Ceram Super – A modified cementitious high performance tiling adhesive.

The timber floor was fully bonded using Sikabond T-55j. The result is quiet and solid, the way it should be.
