The beast will appear and he will brand the peopleon their noses. The people will then go on living withthis branding such that a person will buy a camel andwhen he is asked, From whom did you buy it? he willreply, From one of the branded people. ( Al-Albani )

The Prophecy - Dajjal Narrated by Hudhaifah (RA) The Prophet (SAW) said about Ad-Dajjal

that he would have water and fire with him: (what would seem to be)fire, would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water, wouldbe fire.[Sahih Al-Bukhari, 9.244]

Narrated Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman (RA) that Then the Anti -Christ(Dajjal) will come forth accompanied by a river and fire. He who fallsinto his fire will certainly receive his reward, and have his load takenoff him, but he who falls into his river will have his load retained and

his reward taken off him. I then asked: What will come next? Hesaid: The Last Hour will come. [Sunan of Abu Dawud #4232 ]

Like cloud driven by the wind. He will come to the people andinvite them (to a wrong religion) ; they will affirm their faith in himand respond to him. He will then give a command to the sky: therewill be rainfall upon the Earth and it will grow crops. Then in theevening, their pasturing animals will come to them with theirhumps very high, their udders full of milk and their flanksdistended. He will then come to another people and invite them.But they will reject him so he will go away from them; they willhave a drought and nothing will be left with them in the form ofwealth. He will then walk through the desert and say to it: Bringforth your treasures. The treasures will come out and gatherbefore him like a swarm of bees. He will then call someone in theflush of youth, strike him with the sword, cut him into two piecesand (make these pieces lie at the distance which is generallybetween the archer and his target. He will then call (that youngman) and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming(with happiness).

He said: For 40 days, 1 day like a year, 1 day like a month, 1 daylike a week, and the rest of the days will be like your days. [Sahih Muslim #7015]

Abdul Kareem bin Saleh al Humaid has mentioned inhis booklet about Sheikhul Islam who writes aboutDajjal as follows:Since Dajjal will claim divinity, Nabi (SAW) hadinformed us of two clear differentiating factors:

1. Dajjal will be one-eyed whereas Allah is not.2. No-one can see Allah until death . Even thoughDajjal will be a kafir, Nabi (SAW) mentioned thisbecause such miraculous feats will be displayed by him,which will strengthen any doubts within the hearts ofnormal people (regarding him being Allah).

Narrated by Ubadah ibn as-Samit (RA) thatThe Prophet (SAW) said,I have told you so much about the Dajjal

(Anti-Christ) that I am afraid you may notunderstand. The Anti-Christ is short, hen-toed, woolly-haired, one-eyed, an eye-sightless, and neither protruding nor deep-seated. If you are confused about him, knowthat your Lord is not one-eyed. [Sunan of Abu-Dawud #4306]

Protection against Dajjal Narrated by Abu Darda (RA) that Allah's Messenger

(SAW) said,"He who recites three verses at the beginning of al-Kahf will be protected from the trial of the Dajjal."[at-Tirmidhi #2146]

Narrated by Abu Darda (RA) Allah's Apostle (SAW) said,If anyone learns by heart the first 10 verses of theSurah al-Kahf , he will be protected from the Dajjal.

He will travel the world campaigning Narrated by Abdullah ibn Busr (RA): The

Prophet (SAW) said,The time between the great war and theconquest of the city (Istanbul) will be 6 years,and the Dajjal (Antichrist) will come forth in

the 7th.[Sunan of Abu Dawud #4283]

The return of Isa (Jesus Christ) It will at this very time (after the 3 earthquakes) that

Allah will send Christ, son of Mary. He will descend atthe white minaret on the eastern side of Damascus,wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and

placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When helowers his head, there will fall beads of perspirationfrom his head, and when he raises it up, beads likepearls will scatter from it. Every non-believer whosmells the odour of his body will die and his breath will

reach as far as he is able to see. He will then search forhim (Dajjal) until he catches hold of him at the gate ofLudd and kills him.

The Sun Rising From The West Do they then wait for anything other than that the angels should come to them,

or that your Lord should come, or that some Signs of your Lord shouldcome ! The day that some of the Signs of your Lord do come, no good will it do toa person to believe then, if he believed not before, nor earned good (byperforming deeds of righteousness) through his Faith. Say [to the disbelievers],Wait you! We (too) are waiting (Quran 6:158).

Hadith from Muslim: He who seeks repentance (from the Lord) before the rising of the sun from the

west (before the Day of Resurrection), God turns to him with Mercy. When three things appear faith will not benefit one who has not previously

believed or has derived no good from his faith: the rising of the sun in its place ofsetting, the Dajjaal, and the beast of the earth .

The first sign would be the appearance of the sun from the west , the

appearance of the beast before the people in the forenoon and which of the twohappens first, the second one would follow immediately after that.
