Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

CORUPT, AMORAL, DELINQUENT WORLD

The description of the inhabitants of this relatively

tiny planet, given thousands of years ago, has never

applied so succinctly to global morality as NOW!

With the current loss of hard ice at both the Arctic

and Antarctica, the stability of the north-south axis

of the globe is becoming unstable. Isaiah continues:

24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

It was Isaiah who also foretold of the destruction

of Syria, the long-time enemy of Israel.

Isaiah 17 [HCSB] 1 An * oracle against Damascus: Look, Damascus is no longer a city. It has become a ruined heap.

2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken; they will be places for

flocks. They will lie down without fear. 3 The fortress disappears from Ephraim, and a kingdom from Damascus. The remnant of Aram will be like the splendour of the Israelites. This is the declaration of the LORD of Hosts.

He was moved by God to write on many occasions

of the return of Israel to their land.

Isaiah 60: 4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. 5 Then thou shalt see, because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. 8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows (aircraft)? 9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee. 10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

In Chapter 11 Isaiah tells of the battles Israel

fought and must still fight against the Arabs.

Isaiah 11:13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. 14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; [GAZA] they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab {Jordan peace treaty}.

Israeli Security Forces Preparing for Major Confrontation on Jewish Holiday of Passover

MiddleEastNewsLine 20-Mar-18 Israeli security forces are gearing up for a Palestinian “day of rage” on March 30, the eve of the Jewish festival of Passover, when tens of thousands of people are expected to storm border fences with Israel as part of a “Mass March of Return.” Passover this year coincides with what has been coined “Land Day,” which commemorates an Israeli move in 1976 to expropriate property in the Galilee — a decision that sparked widespread riots that resulted in the deaths of six Arab-Israelis and which has since been marked each year with demonstrations. Another protest is planned for May 15, when Palestinians mark the so-called Nakba, the Arabic word for “catastrophe” used to describe the creation of Israel in 1948. IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot is scheduled to meet senior officers this week to review plans that aim to strike a balance between preventing breaches of the security barriers and averting casualties. The potential for a major confrontation comes amid already heightened tensions in the wake of the murder of Adiel Kolman, who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian in the Old City of Jerusalem on Sunday. That, in turn, followed the killing some 48 hours earlier of two Israeli soldiers in a car-ramming in the West Bank, as Palestinians rioted to mark 100 days since U.S. President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. As regards the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces over the weekend conducted several retaliatory strikes against Hamas assets, including destroying two subterranean tunnels, one of which stretched into Israeli territory; this, after an explosive device was detonated along the border, the fourth time over the past month that a bomb was set off near the frontier. According to reports, some 200 lone wolf attacks have been thwarted in the Palestinian territories over the past two months alone, a worrying development that has Israeli forces on high alert.

An IDF tank on Wednesday shelled and destroyed two Hamas observation posts in the Gaza Strip in response to a Palestinian provocation on the border. Two Palestinians approached the old Karny crossing into the Strip and set fire to

a structure there. The two did not cross into Israeli territory, the IDF stressed. The IDF stated that it “viewed with severity any attempt to ruin or vandalize the security fence or security infrastructure” in the area. This latest incident occurred as tensions on the border with Gaza are running high and terror-related incidents transpire almost on a daily basis. IDF forces on Tuesday arrested three Palestinians armed with knives and grenades who infiltrated into Israel from the Gaza Strip. IDF tanks shelled and destroyed two Hamas observations posts at the Gaza border Sunday night in response to heavy machine gun fire discharged by Hamas during military maneuvers in the Strip, which set off rocket alarms in the south of the country. Israel’s Air Force (IAF) on Saturday night targeted a Hamas terror target in a military compound in Rafah, southern Gaza, in response to a cross-border provocation earlier in the day. Four Gazans cut through the security fence between Israel and Gaza in an attempt to damage an engineering vehicle involved in the construction of the anti-terror tunnel underground barrier. Similarly, there were several recent attempts by Gaza terrorists to deploy and detonate explosive devices against IDF forces in the area. This coming Friday, Hamas plans to lead a mass march on Israel’s border, an incident Israel fears could lead to casualties.

Palestinian Christian Theologians against Israel

believes. These beliefs, however, make it difficult to understand

how the leaders of a church can advocate intimate relations with

Muslims, for whom everything Christians believe is blasphemy. No one is suggesting that Palestinian Christians should invite their own deaths by outrightly defying the Muslim majority. It seems inexplicable, however, why these Christians prefer to join with the Islamic resistance rather than to remain silent, accept their supposedly inferior status, and refrain from overt endorsements of what Muslims view as right. The Acts of the Apostles states that the first Christians in Jerusalem were Jews, and even after the fall of Jerusalem in A.D. 70, Christianity in the Holy Land kept its Jewish flavour. The Jewish revolt of Bar-Kokhba in 135 changed all this; Rome showed no mercy to the Jews and obliterated Jerusalem, renaming the city "Aelia Capitolina" and the country "Palestine." Thus, Christian Jewish community effectively disappeared. As non-Jewish Christians emerged, persecution continued throughout the Roman Empire until the emperor Constantine converted in 312 and imposed Christianity as the sole religion. Under the Roman and Byzantine empires, the Christians of Palestine enjoyed freedom to live and worship as they pleased. In 634, however, a mere two years after the death of the prophet Muhammad, Muslim Arab forces defeated the Byzantines and took possession of Syria, of which Palestine was the southern region. "Palestine," although an ancient name, was imposed by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in an apparent attempt to sever the land even then from its Jewish roots in response to a revolt in 135 CE. From 1923-1948, Palestine was the name of the area under the British mandate and during that time, everyone born there – Christian, Muslim and Jew – was officially a Palestinian, with "Palestine" stamped on all passports.

Then, in May of 1948, five Arab armies attacked Israel on the day of its birth, explicitly hoping to end the new country before it could start. The people now called Palestinians were those Arabs who fled during that war, after their leaders promised them they would be able to come back and reclaim their homes as soon as the Arab victory was complete. What today we regard as Palestinians, as the PLO leader Zuheir Mohsen explained in an interview in the Dutch newspaper Trouw in March 1977, are simply the Arabs who lost the war: "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality, today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese." In the Qur'an, Christian belief in God as three persons is anathema, as God is only One. (The BIBLE also). Similarly, Jesus is regarded, not as God or the Son of God, but as a prophet inferior to Muhammad. The Qur'an is emphatic in saying that Jesus was not crucified, but that someone else was substituted for him. Therefore, Christ did not die to save mankind; this salvation is reserved only for those who believe in the God of the prophet Muhammad.... the Bible... was a corruption of Islam by Christian priests and monks, in a distortion known as tahrif. A fundamental aspect of much modern theology across the Christian churches is a belief in the central role of reconciliation and peace-making by believers, both clergy and lay. Even the World Council of Churches, emphasizes the role of Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation. Supporting Hamas and all the other forces within the Palestinian "Resistance" is a total contradiction of such Christian values. In few other places may one find such a level of hypocrisy and wilful self-contradiction. Yet in churches almost everywhere, the literature, films, and spokespeople of that Christian deception may be found month after month and town after town. On March 3 2108, Britain's most senior Catholic cleric, Cardinal Vincent Nichols called for closer ties with Islam on the grounds "That the two religions have more in common than people think". What on Earth does this prelate think Muslims believe? After some 1400 years of rivalry and war, some sort of naivety and fuzzy thinking is making Christians the agents of their own destruction. Israel in the months ahead would develop into the Battle

of Armageddon! The final battle for the Holy Land! The belligerents in this conflict will be Israel and her

allies versus the Arab descendants of Esau and

Ishmael

– backed by their ally, Iran!

The United States would support Israel - according to

the Trump deal. If Saudi Arabia becomes involved it

will draw in Iran and (according to Daniel ch. 11)

Egypt! If such a scenario erupts, the great Messiah will

appear! The alliance of “Christian” churches with the Islamic

hordes (as depicted in the previous article) will result in a

huge horde of nations under “Babylon the Great” (a

synonym for the R. C. Church) attacking the embryonic

Kingdom of God in a future rebellion [see Rev. Ch. 17].
