SIGNAL AND TELECOMMUNICATION TRAINING CENTRE N.F.RAILWAY, PANDU.

The S&T Training Centre,Pandu, was started in a temporary accommodation at SWS/PNO Campus on 15th June 1996 and inaugurated by Sri A.N.Sinha GM/N.F.R. in Presence of Sri C.Prasad CSTE/N.F.R. Finally the training centre transferred to new campus at 6 no. Ferry Ghat Colony, Pandu on 26th Nov’ 2001. Now, The STTC/PNO is having a separate hostel building, PI Building, e - Learning Building, Auditorium and separate Girl’s Hostel which was inaugurated by Hon’ble CSTE/N.F.RLY Sri O.P. Varma, in presence of Hon’ble CCE and CSTE/Plg/N.F.RLY. STTC/PNO is 4 KM away from “Kamakhya JN .” and at the foot of the “Saraighat Bridge”.

MISSION STATEMENT

TO DEVELOP INDIVIDUAL SKILL , KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF EACH EMPLOYEE.

TO ELIMINATE SHORT CUT METHODS AND RECTIFY FAILURE WITH MINIMUM DURATION DULY ADOPTING PROPER MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE.

TO DEVELOP CORDIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FELLOW WORKERS AND TO DEVELOP CONFIDENCE.

Free boarding is provided to the trainees.

Private Mess facility is available for the trainees controlled by Mess committee. The menu is prepared by the trainees and charge of meal is borne by the trainees.

6. Entertainment facility available at STTC/PNO.

One small Play ground is available for outdoor games (Cricket, Football & Volley ball) and indoor games (Carom, Chess, Badminton) TV room with DTH HD connection is provided at both gents and ladies Hostel.
