Simulation / Emulation

With the simulation are experiments

performed on a model, in order to gain

insights about material flow- and logistics

concepts.

Simulation models can be modified

significantly easier than real systems and

simulations are reproducible.

An emulation is the limitation of the know

behavior of a system by another technical

system whose behavior is emulated by

software and is used in this context for the

virtual commissioning of new or adapted

system control software.

3D-models representing resp. emulate

mechanics, actuating elements and sensor

system and thus provide an environment for

development accompanying tests for

disposal.
