Western Red Cedar is popular most of all for its appearance. Its fine straight grain, outstanding strength/weight ratio, and low rate of expansion and contraction makes it a much sought-after essence.

This product is environmentally-friendly since it does not need to be treated. It contains natural oils that makes it resistant to moisture, insects, and decay.

WESTERN RED CEDAR SHINGLE PANELSGoodfellow offers ready to install Red Cedar shingle panels. The eight feet panels available in different styles are assembled on plywood, including a fiberglass base and an integrated vapor barrier.

Popular with contractors, installation is six times faster than traditional shingles. This product is certified by ASTM. This shingle has been tested to withstand winds that exceeded 322 KM/H (200 MPH). A fire resistant treatment (Class A) is also available.
