Verosol Hardwood Shutters are made from 100% sustainably sourced timber. Painted Shutters are made from Poplar, an even-grained timber, with a fine texture and flawless finish. Stained Shutters are made from premium hand-selected basswood, selected for its even grain and light colour.

Verosol Aluminium Shutters are constructed with beauty, durability and versatility in mind. They allow you to combine indoor and outdoor living with shutters that are built to last through all weather conditions. Compared to many lower quality alumunium shutters on the market, the 1.4mm marine-grade aluminium alloy offers unsurpassed strength and resistance to rain and sun.

QUALITY

Verosol Polyresin Shutters are constructed with a high strength polymer resin with aluminium inserted re-inforcements. These shutters are a cost effective PVC alternative to timber products whilst retaining the timelesslook and feel of shutters.

Ideal for wet areas and high moisture such as kitchens and bathrooms.

PAINT OR STAIN OPTIONS

With a versatile range of high quality paint or stain options, Verosol Shutters will complement any home interior. Painted Shutters beautifully create the classic look, and are finished in quality 2-pack polyurethane paint.

Stained Shutters are available in a range of popular stains, and the indistinct grain enhances the colouring process for superior consistency in finish, giving a rich, luxurious feel.

COLOUR RANGE

Match your decor with a range of standard powder coat colours as well as timber grain veneers. Verosol can also colour match your shutters to any colour from the Dulux World of Colour Fandeck, giving you ultimate customisation. All powder coating uses a high quality liquid backed enamel paint to give a superb finish.

Alternatively, keep the natural look and feel of a timber finish with the range of timber grain finishes, offering increased durability and easy maintenance.

COLOUR RANGE

All Verosol Polyresin Shutters are finished with a quality 2 pack paint. Available in a limited range of three standard colours, the finish is consistent and reliable.

Custom colours are not available.

Verosol Hardwood Shutters are custom made to fit a wide range of different sized and shaped windows, making it a highly versatile option. Select from a range of special shapes and configurations such as Arch, Half Arch, Triangle, Oval or French Door.

Verosol Hardwood Shutters are available in three different elliptical blade sizes – 64mm, 89mm or 114mm, each giving a different look to suit your home.

6 POINTS | comparing Hardwood shutters

Not all Shutters are created equal

1. IT’S WHAT’S ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS Verosol painted Hardwood shutters are 100% solid poplar. Often shutters sold as “Basswood” are LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber), a thin Basswood Veneer (30%) is wrapped around laminated strips of other timbers. Always confirm a shutter is 100% of the timber species.

2. NOT ALL PAINTS ARE THE SAME

Timber shutters are finished in a quality 2-pack polyurethane paint, which is used in high end cabinets and kitchen cupboards. Other shutters might boast about the number of coats of paint they are using, but as polyurethane paint is thicker there are not as many coats required. More coats usually mean an inferior Nitro Cellulosic paint has been used. Feel the difference, Verosol Hardwood Shutters feel smooth and luxurious.

3. CONSTRUCTION IS KEY

Timber Shutters are constructed using a Mortise and Tenon join, which is one of the strongest joins in carpentry. The fluted dowel ensures joint stability, whereas inferior shutters can be manufactured using butt joins. The construction of our timber shutters ensures longevity of the panel and is backed by a 15 year structural warranty.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS Verosol Hardwood Shutters are made from 100% timber, which is recyclable, biodegradable and require less energy to produce than other inorganic materials. Our construction results in more efficient yield from the tree, which means less waste.

5. FLEXIBILITY AND CREATIVITY

Further to the extensive colour range currently available, Hardwood Shutters can be custom coloured to suit any decor. Timber shutters offer a flexible solution for difficult shaped windows. The only limitation is your imagination!

The Verosol Hardwood Shutter blades are available in three sizes (64 mm, 89 mm and 114 mm), so you have a wide variety to choose from . Split rotation is a must! This is a point of difference that Verosol shutters have over many other shutters.
