Birthday: March 9th

Husband: Brad Lawrence

Kids: Jagger (2002) and Gunner (2004)

After high school, I went to x-ray school in Rolla, MO. I have worked as a x-ray tech at Heartland for 8 years. (I love my job!) In January of this year, I went part time and now I only work 6 days a month, I love being able to stay home more with my kids. I am happily married to Brad Lawrence, we got married in Vegas in May of 2001. He’s an RN in the ER at Heartland. It is nice to be able to work with my husband, the few days I do work. We have 2 boys, Jagger and Gunner. Jagger is 6 years old and is in first grade at North Andrew and Gunner with be 4 years old this month and is in his first year of preschool. Jagger is shy and loves to go hunting and fishing with his dad. Gunner is the ornery one, he keeps Brad and I on our toes. My kids are my world!! Brad and I built a house on 85 acres out in the country between Savannah and Rosendale. I never thought I would be a country girl, but I love it. Something that has really changed for me since high school is that I am a very strong Christian. I feel that God has taken me through tough times and struggles in my life for a reason, I have learned a lot and I can truly say that life is good! I have an awesome husband and two wonderful children!!!

Melody (Ingersol) McFall

Birthday: September 27th

Husband: Christopher McFall

Kids: Caitlin (2000)

After high school, I briefly enrolled in MW, but dropped out due to budgeting constraints. During this hectic time of working three jobs, I met and married my spouse, Christopher. Nine months later, haha, we had our first child, Caitlin. (She is about to turn eight and is the light of our life.) Promptly thereafter, we moved to California to be closer to my parents, who then moved back to Missouri. Not being gypsies ourselves, we decided to stay here in overpriced northern California and make a go of it. I’m still decorating cakes, as I’ve done since high school, I just have a different title now—Chief Operations Officer for D&N Delights. We own and operate two Baskin-Robbins stores in the North Bay. I’d say this was lucrative, but I’d be lying. My spousal partner manages a shipping department for a tile company. One day I hope to go back to school, but who knows what life with bring? Every day is something new… I wish all of you much luck and happiness in life!

Kevin Martin

Birthday: May 29th

Occupation: boat Captain, Photographer, Naturalist, Guide in Alaska, Columbia/Snake Rivers, Sea of Cortez, Baja Mexico

I received my BA Business Administration, Emphasis Entrepreneurialism from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA in 2002. I went to college, went to Nashville to study banjo, left college, cut meat in Vancouver, WA grocery store, left there, played banjo on Columbia River riverboat, started naturalist/captain & photography work in Alaska & Sea of Cortez.

I was born to a family of very poor wolves in Mongolia. It was hard, but then I got invited to school in Savannah. There I met human friends and learned the Pythagorean Theorem, which I still use today, and was honored to be a Savannah High School Presidential candidate. I learned that skipping school really didn’t matter and that Senorita Brown effectively taught me basic conjugation of Spanish verbs. Mr. Luce & Ms. Haenni opened my eyes most I think. Since then the professional path has been as varied as the Savannah weather: meat cutter, banjo picker, nature & journalism photographer, boat captain, West Coast (from Alaska to Mexico) naturalist & guide. Still wondering what will happen next. Photography seems to be a consistent focus right now. But who knows. Wolf hunting seems unlikely, but it seems anything is as likely as anything else. Maybe I’ll take up gymnastics or library sciences.

Favorite memory from high school: Hitting Todd Donahoo with grape flung from my t-shirt during lunch.

Ashley Burnett

Birthday: July 30th

Kids: Zero, Nadda, Ziltch, None

Life since Savannah High has been pretty good. After graduation, I attended Southwest Missouri State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders—Speech Language Pathology. I then went on to obtain my Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. College life was great but once I completed those 6 years, I was ready to leave the Show Me State. I took a job which brought me to the desert! I work in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas. I absolutely love my job; I don’t even think of it as a job, really! This school year was the start of year 5 of living in the flat but almost always sunny city of Viva Las Vegas. I definitely miss the green in Missouri as well as thunderstorms; something I took for granted when I lived there! The day we graduated, what was it, May 14, 1998? I never would have thought that 10 years later I would be living in Nevada; I had never even been here until the day I moved. Pretty crazy, I know! For those of you who are curious: I am single and have no kids. I have 50 little ones I work with each and every week that I call my own—they just don’t go home with me. I just got my first ever puppy (Bella) September 15th—so in a way, I am a new mommy! I love to travel (with a new puppy, this should be interesting), hike, camp, kayak, and play the Wii!

Shanna (Summerford) Bever

Birthday: September 5th

Significant Other: Randy Bever

Kids: Bailey (1998), Katie (2000), Brandon (2001), Brysen (2003)

After high school, I went straight into Parenthood. I had Bailey the September after graduation and then 3 more after him. Yeah, I’m busy!! There is never a dull moment. Bailey and Brandon play baseball, Katie goes to Darcy’s for dance, and the lil guy will start T-ball in the spring. I married the most wonderful guy in the world, probably more than what I deserve. He works at HRMC Emergency Room as an RN and LifeNet (Air Medical Ambulance) Chief Medical Flight Nurse. We have been married for two years. And with marriage I got three wonderful step-kids. Just is 24 and a police officer in Overland Park, Aaron is 21 and lives in Kansas City and Taylor is 17 and is a Senior at Central this year. I have worked for Heartland since 2001 and have been at the Pain Center for 3 years. I work with a bunch of great girls and love what I do. Life is great at the Bever house!!

Favorite memory from high school: OMG looking back now, just being young and carefree and thinking how we thought we knew everything!!! Its funny how when you have your own kids, you repeat what your parents used to say to you.

April (Schank) Beauford

Kids: Corbin (8) and Lily (8 months)

After high school, I moved to Springfield, went to SMSU for about a week or two, and then on a whim, I quit school and moved to Rolla with Jammie (Baker) for a short time. I had fun down there, but came back to St. Joe, went to MWSC for about 7 years and still am not done. I’ve been working at American Family Insurance since 2000, have a great job and love the people I work with. I had a son, Corbin, in February 2000. He’s a riot and keeps us busy with sports, playing basketball, soccer, tackle football and baseball. I met Dustin in September 2004 through a mutual friend and we got married on December 31, 2006. Dustin is an electrician and works for ALS Electric in St. Joe. He’s wonderful and we have so much fun together, going to MU games, Royals games, and hanging out with friends. We had a little girl, Lily, in February 2008 and she is such a good baby—we are very lucky. We are selling our house and moving to Savannah soon.

Favorite memory from high school: I loved following the football team to Webb City, and then it was amazing when our girls basketball team went to state—I feel like our senior year is the kind of thing you see in movies when the small town shuts down to go support the sports teams!

After high school, I went to Kansas State University and I was a Chi Omega sorority girl…got homesick….came home, went to Mo West partied and got drunk a lot…then met a guy and had 2 kids with him…worked for my parents managing several gas stations…got sick of everything and decided it was time for me to quit being a spoiled brat and do something that would lead to a happy future so I went back to Mo West and I love it. I am a single mom and live with my single mom sister in the farm house at Ol Mac Farm and I am finishing my degree in Biology/Psychology. After high school, I received a B.S. in Graphic Design from MWSU. I moved to Kansas City to live with my husband Skip and started working at The Kansas City Star in the special sections and promotions department in The Star’s advertising division. All of the design and art directing work I do is mostly for clients who want to promote their business through special sections that run in The Star. I get to do some really fun projects and some really boring ones. We used to do a lot of collaboration with the Royals and having a press pass at a game is always exciting. I have two children, a daughter Adrian and a son Hayden. Everyday I look forward to going home and playing with and learning from them. My dream job is to get enough freelance work so that I can stay home with the kids but for now that is wishful thinking.

Favorite memory from high school: playing tennis and being part of the team; I especially enjoyed the times we were gone all day for tournaments.

I didn’t know that I would love living in the country so much! I then decided that it was time to put my true dream into motion. Sooo, I took the plunge and opened my hair salon in November 2007. I have seven people working for me. I truly don’t know where the past ten years have gone. Time really does fly when you’re having fun. Or is it when you get OLD? HA HA
