Month of the Rosary
The Rosary will be recited at the Shrine a half an hour before every public Mass throughout the month of October.
Dear Shrine Faithful,
Blessed Solemnity of the Holy Rosary! In fact the entire month is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. May we use this part of the liturgical year to stimulate our Marian devotions and to either return to or deepen our daily recitation of the Holy Rosary. It is a most salutary practice. For this reason the Rosary will be recited in the Shrine a half an hour before every public Mass throughout the month of October. Venite! "The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin…If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors." ~Pope Pius XI Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!
